  1. the rear wishbone bushes, are the same as consloe bushes. the part number for cupra bushes is, 6LL 407 183 (around £8 each) i have them on my vRS, and it made a lot of differance the handling department. i would recommended it.
  2. I have come across this fault before, and various tests found all was ok on the managment side of things. The cause of cutting out was down to the inletmanifold gasket leaking. New gaskets fitted, and it was good as new.
  3. 1, Yes there is a four digit pin number for your immob. if you do not know the pin( will be on a white folding plastic tag, with the immob number and code). a dealer will have to hook your car up to their VAS 5051B and via a btack sever to skoda uk will be able to code the keys. they will not see the code. 2, The OEM alloy wheels have two styles of locking wheel nuts, you local dealer should have the master set of both, and will be able to determin which fits yours.
  4. I have changed many 20v turbo cam belts and water pumps. There is a a nack of removing the mounting block, it take two of u to do it mind... you need the dog bone gearbox mounting off and the engine jacked up. its tight as a nuns, but it comes out and back in. Needs the right angle tho.
  5. this sounds just like a faulty YAW angle sensor on the steering rack. about £70 for the part ex with ur local skoda dealer.
  6. no i don't know which 1 it is, it is a small volume charger. the lad who has it is making a 1.9 16v G60 for his carrado, and its too small 4that. which is good news for the pick-up.
  7. A good friend of mine has come across not 1, but 2 mint Shorrcok superchargers. I understand these were the mutts.... back in the 60's and 70's. being fitted to mini A series engines. My friend has just sold 1 of the pair on ebay for what i would say, is a small fortune. He is a chap who likes to fiddle with engines, and I'm half way convincing him to lendind the remainding supercharger so we and afew other friends could fit it to my pick-up 1.3mpi. Which we all use regualy. Has any1 else superchaged a 136 1.3mpi?
  8. i heard it is the lowering springs from the mk4 golf, that is needed in lowering the pick-up. its only for the rear. i don't know if the come as just rears. i've just sarted to look into it.
  9. The main relay bored is behind the lower dash trim on the drivers side. you have to take the lower dashout to get to it. also there are 1-3 more fuses there(pending on model).
  10. The steering is extreamly sensitve now we're running rose joints. it power slides/drifts..... then spins out of control. hell alot of fun tho.
  11. More pics to come after the weekend. more mods will be under taken, also we have found a new hill to try. maybe break the 30mph barrier.
  12. the CO2 fire extinguisher is now painted in NOS blue. pics to follow.
  13. EDIT> Or is the light in the milage display?
  14. lets just say the neighbours bins always full. lol
  15. is the oil light red or yellow?
