  1. With all this rain, my 1998 Felicia pick-up is drenched inside, foot-well and fuse-box especially. I understand it could be window screen seals, but before I call someone out, I would like to check other possibilities. I have been reading about pollen vents, and blocked scuttles, and seals around window wipers etc. that could cause the same problem. Advise please on how to check these things. Thanks.
  2. Sorry to confuse the issue - I meant the driver's side does not work. The contact switch on the passenger door works fine. The driver's side used to work. I guess it has more wear and tear on the driver's side.
  3. Skoda Felicia pick-up 1998 When I forget to turn my lights off, the alarm on the passenger side does not work. The switch is not stuck, I can push it in easily. Is there a way to fix it? thanks. Also the courtesy light on the passenger side does not work. I'm not really bothered about this, just wondered if the two problems are connected.
  4. I have found the solution to my problem. Rain has saturated the workings. I opened my fuse box and it was wet. Spent an hour trying to dry wires and fuses. Will it be okay when dried out?
  5. Skoda Felicia pick-up 1998. I left my lights on - got flat battery. Bought new battery. New battery intermittently buzzes even when key not in ignition and parking light and battery light on dashboard seem to be faintly on. Skoda is booked in for service next week, but in the meantime is there anything I could try? P.S. When I took the old battery out, I left the bonnet up and it rained, so wires could be wet, could that be anything to do with it. For now, I have disconnected the battery. Thanks
  6. TT, Thank you, I'd not heard of a locking wheel nut. After reading your post,I mentioned it to a friend. They suggested I look in the glove compartment for the key, and there it was. I've owned my pick-up for what must be ten-years and not noticed it.
  7. I have a Skoda Felicia pick up S reg. It is parked in my drive and has a flat tyre. The spare is underneath the van and held on by a bracket. The bolt holding the bracket to the van is very rusty and I do not know how to undo it. I shall try to explain the bolt. The bolt is about a cm across and has a cover on it, which came off very easily and exposed a flat disc with four holes in it. There is a band around the edge that turns but does not come off.
