Hi My silver 04 Fabia vrs is currently on 284000 miles and looks good drives fine and keeps going. Any similar mileage cars?

Yes a mk1 vrs in silver on an 04 plate. It drives fine and pulls like a steam train with no smoke. How do I upload pics as I want to show what it looks like!

Hi I am the new owner of a Fabia VRS in Black. Before this I was driving a Clio V6 and a crappy little Pug 106 diesel. I needed something more reliable and cheaper to run than the V6 and a lot better than the Pug 106. So far I am very impressed by the Fabia. It is a 53 plate with 93k miles. I bought it for 3K which seemed to be the cheapest around at the time. I had to get a couple of new tyres, an intercooler and gave her a full service. All done by myself. The only niggling thing now is creaking from the front end on braking and accelerating? I have had it checked out by two good garages and both could find nothing? Everything was solid and all the bushes in good condition with no play? Has anyone on here got any idea what it could be? I have heard the VRS's are prone to creaking etc? Is this true?
