  1. Alright mate. Been mega busy lol. It's all working great man. Thanks again. The bonnet struts are a nice touch as well.
  2. Get a pic up once there on mate. Might invest in a set.
  3. This is my old stage 2+ mk2 Leon cupra. Loved this thing and wish I didn't have to sell it but I needed a bigger car for my baby girl. Would have another in a sec. My current audi S4 just doesn't have the same zing to it.
  4. Mine was only on 24k when it had a slight coolant leak coming from the water pump. Best getting it checked. It cost £399 from the skoda main dealers to replace it for a new one including new belts.
  5. I'm gonna go for Hids on mine but I want the side lights, drls and fogs to match the same colour light output before I buy a set.
  6. Car - Monte Carlo 1.6 tdi 105 hatchback Colour - Red Reg - 2011 (I'm the 2nd owner) Options - maxidot, heated seats, heated mirrors, climatronic, Bluetooth, rubber mats, spare wheel. Mods - none Future mods - H&R or eibach springs, rarb, wheel spacers, egr/dpf delete them Remapped, better lights all round - front bulbs including silvatec indicators, Hids, number plate lights etc, (help on this appreciated). Central arm rest, cruise control, louder horn.
  7. They'll look spot on. Best of luck keeping them clean tho lol.

    Remap places

Hi folks. All going to plan I'll be the new owner of a fabia monte Carlo 1.6 diesel thus Saturday. Travelling to kent for it so it better be a good one lol. This will be mainly used for my work (350 mile a week trip) hence the reason for a diesel. I've tried to read as much as possible about them and one thing that keeps popping up is egr cooler and dpf problems. Now I've been told that rather than fix them when/if they go tits up I'd be better getting them removed and then Remapped. Anyone done this and how much cost is involved?? I'm not planning on doing that much if anything to the car as I have an Audi B8 S4 that gets enough spent on it. Well maybe a set of springs and rarb. The car in question as 29k miles on a 2011 plate so it's low mileage which is a good thing as I'll not be long in totting them up lol. Is the car worth being mapped as it'll be nippy enough I'd imagine. I'm from the Stirling/alloa area so every where in the central belt is pretty much accessible. Cheers Alex
  9. Great thread this. Give me some ideas for mine if all goes well this Saturday.
  10. How much was the head unit mate??
  11. The cars a 2011 model and I'm buying privately. AFAIK the egr cooler is the original part and hasn't been changed. I think an aftermarket warranty might be in order.
