Haven't been on here in a LONG LONG LONG time! Had my Fabia VRS MK2 for 4 years now still running great. Just wondering did anyone ever get round to wiring the dummy sidelights in? Was it easy? I cant see it being that difficult to link them into the side light switch? or even to just have them on with the DRL?

So I have the above radio and I can't get my head around why I can't change a song when listening via Bluetooth with steering controls? If I am able to answer calls through the wheel then surely there is some way of getting it change track?! Anyone found a way to do it? Pfft frustrates me so much !

Just been wondering.. Do I need to use the handbrake when parking up if I have put the dsg into P? Also what is it the holds the car still when you do this? As it seems to clunk into what ever it is that holds the car? Am I making sense?

It's in my diary.. I'm a newbie to any of this.. So just some quick questions.. A)what do I need with me? can I remove spare tyre once there? C) do I need to do anything with the car? D) how much is it? E) anything else I've not thought of? Thanks Zach

So I've been to to simply get the centre box removed and replaced with a pipe? Who's done just this on it's own? And what are the results? Also can anyone point me in the right direction of the pipe/parts I need? Thanks Zach

Yes, at the minute the headlights are a yellowy colour - where as the day time running lights are LED so they are a bluey tint, and yes they are black pack lights.

Any one got a link to some bulbs that match the drs?

I know there is tons of threads on this but I believe my question(s) to be slightly different, a)has anyone found any Normal bulbs H7 I think it is that colour match the DRL/sidelights colour well im not wanting to have xenon's fitted just a direct replacement h7 bulb? b)has anyone tried and succeeded in wiring in the redundant side lights that are just there to fill the hole? Sorry to comment now but that light patch is the hole for the fuel gauge needle on maxi dot cars i had it on my old monte

Has anyone smoked their rear lights? I want to do it myself. Whats the best product to buy? Or is it best to leave it to the pro's? Car is an all black vrs and imo the rear lights stick out like a sore thumb! Thanks zach

Picked the vrs up this afternoon. I am very impressed! The monte in comparison which I was in love for before felt like a slug compared to the vrs! My only problem is I forgot to get cruise control fitted! Can anyone point me in the direction of a good place to get it fitted? The dealer sales man said it would be better to get it fitted else where?? I am in the Leeds area. Here's an old vs new photo Thanks

Yeah I guess the texaco's few pence extra is equalled out then by the faster reward loyalty thing.

I usually do but brimmed my tank with them feel conned!! Ha grrr I find I get the most miles from Texaco garages and the loyalty is better than the other garages.. Only need to collect 500 points compared to shells 1000 to get a 5er off ha

So I filled up at a garage the other day I thought it was a Texaco but turns out it was a small independent garage that used to be a Texaco (want happy I couldn't use my loyalty card!! )Just wondered what type of fuel they will use? Like will it be supermarket grade or like standard shell ect ?? I asked the chap who supplies their fuel and he just shrugged and said it's just normal fuel.. Seem to have had a drop in mpg too... What are you experiences with independemt fuel?

I am led to believe that you can use wheels with a diffent offset than the oem one. but only by a couple of mm either way? some opne please correct me if I am wrong. Zach
