  1. "ive got a 2010 2.0tdi vrs that had 18in alloys but now 16in winter wheels and tyres 205/50 r16 what tyre pressures you guys using?" Have a look on the inside of your fuel filler cap... should say there... on my Fabia it says 0.2 above the standard pressure.
  2. Grrr! Nice calendar, cool photos but - gasp - theres no where to write on the calendar what one is doing on the day so no good for me I`m afarid, only room for one at home and it needs space for this otherwise chaos ensues!
  3. Thanks all, so it`s Fabia then.... glad thats sorted.... Faybia sounds better or am I just trying to be posh!?
  4. Just to throw my tuppence worth in the pot... Last winter I shoved Vredestein Snowtrac 3`s on to my Panda Multijet and they worked a treat, I only fitted fronts and, as it has been said on here before, if you`re a dab hand at opposite lock then fine but it was played out to me one morning going a little fast around a tight corner that the rears need the same winter tyre fitting as the fronts as the front wheels gripped but the rear of the car span - badly. I was left giggling but that might not have been the case so this year snow tyres are fitted all round. The VRS will stay at home when the weather turns nasty as it`s too good to be risked out there in moronland! :| If you can`t get people in silver / grey cars to turn their *7%$@*!! lights on in the foggy drizzly mornings then what hope do we have that they`ll actually be capable of controlling their Audi`s and BMW`s in the snow and ice?!
  5. Does anyone have any recent experiences of jabba or Unit 18? I will be needing a full service on my VRS very soon and would like to take it to someone who will look after the car and do the job thoroughly.
  6. Thanks Guys, it`s good to be here... already found out about the `other` air conditioned cubby hole ( full of junk of course but now it can be cool junk ) Yep, will get some pics up in due course... silver was not my first choice nor was the cloth interior but the SE will have to wait until one is found within 3,000 miles of Bedfordshire! Are there still meets in Milton Keynes or thereabouts does anyone know? I notice that there was last Feb but nothing noted since (?)... may have to organise one if not!
  7. Hi all, just purchased a 2004 VRS Fabia... loving it but can`t find anything wrong with it which is worrying me as it appears far too good for a seven year old car bought from a trader! All the books are there, two keys and lovely body and interior... even the spare wheel is unsused! So looking forward to life in the fast lane but silly question: Do we pronounce it FAYbia or FABia? Gotta know... :wonder: Cheers!
