  16. Is there any way of getting the oil temp to display on the maxidot ? Couldnt see anything on vcds, other than displaying it as a measuring block, but still trying to get used to it. I have the fiscon basic plus installed for the bt but the efma shows oil temp at -59 all the time Failing this is there any guage a good match for the skoda green? i used to have the newsouth ones installed in my vw and they were a perfect match

  19. Ive had 1.4, 1.6 vti civics and a 2.0 twin carb prelude Gotta admit the prelude was the most involving drive and turned the most heads mainly due to the pop up headlights I went for the tdi bora after the lude for a mix of the torque and economy, hated having to drop to through the box to overtake and sub 20mpg. Shame the exess for a diesel at the time was stupid due to fuel prices Garage had a 1.8t 6spd bora in quick shot in that and i was sold. Less than 19k on the clock for just under £6k When that was written off i did look at the 2.2 accord diesel along with the golf tdi and vrs All cars had their good and bad points What used to get me when i had the bora was the slagging type r hondas and appaernt owning got on the mk4 forum. On straight roads with modded cars against standard ones. Sorry but as much as i loved the bora your golfs wouldnt have stood a chance in the twisties with a ctr with same mods. Each to their own the octy suits me for size confort and alothough its no as quick as the bora im hoping a remap helps close the gap a bit as really do miss it at times. Bar the sub 30 average mpg
  20. Mines has been run on a mix of shell normal and tescos diesel. Has also has a few tanks of vpower derv through it and couldnt tell the difference. However a mate borrowed it and but £30 of morrisons diesel and it stank like hell and didnt feel like it was running right. Now ive always stayed as far away from morrisons as possible since i tried running my civic on it. Ran like it wss fueled on spanners, stank of eggs and i could have probably pushed it faster. But mate wasnt to know she normally just give me the money as she knew i was fussy with the bora as it was mapped for. Vpower Does anyobe know if once mapped you notice a difference between normal diesel and super?
  21. Already spoke to him. He doesnt have the facility to bench remap the cr ecu. So trip to shark hq at some point
