Yeah all is going very and life is better than it ever been. How are things with you?

Just popped in for the first time in hell of a long time. I used to be on here regularly in the past but then work and life got in the way as it tends to do? I'm currently living in the Lakes after a move from the Wirral via Woking. Loads of new people on here by the looks of things but still seen a few familiar names around, devonutopia, robmawer to name just 2. So how the hell is everyone?

If anyone is looking for something to pass the day there is a rally on at Three Sisters circuit on the same if anyone fancies some motorsport and a beer in the evening.

Formula One descends into farce again.

"This years McLaren seems to drive fine, balance looks good, power is definately good (as evidenced by Brawn) but it just doesn't have the downforce/grip. Without that, you're pretty screwed." Mmmm - can you explain your logic behind your following two statements: "balance looks good" and "it just doesn't have the downforce/grip" You cannot have a car that is balanced if it doesn't have downforce or grip. It's like saying Hitler was a great supporter of the Jewish plight during the second world war. -
Button got where he is today by his daddies deep pockets - the total opposite of Hamilton who has talent by the bucketful and a dad who worked his ******** off to get him racing.

But how many spectators actually pay the stupid prices. You can see just as much rallying in the various forests most weekends. Anyway Suzuki have suffered from the Honda Effect and gone so we're back to three manuafacturers again.

Sweden is a snow rally so they are allowed to use snow tyres which are narrow with titanium spikes (it's the only rally they are used for apart from Norway when they had a round). Finland is a gravel rally. It's not a WRC issue its a FIA WMSC issue as they come up with the regulations. Even Pirelli want the tyre regulations looked at.

But if the tyres are running at 6 degrees below their designed operating temperature and IV can't get into the stage incase of an icident would you still expect the stage to run?
-
that's always a consideration - if the FIV would have trouble getting to a serious off there would be bigger questions asked that the 'are drivers puffs' issue that seems to be the general opinion. Having tyres running 6 degrees below what ntheir working temperature should be is a massive isse.
