Thanks, no wonder I couldn’t find it!

MAF sensor location 2.0 TSI 280 66reg
I am guessing it is at the bottom of the pipe from the airbox, nicely hidden away? Anyone got a picture from above, thanks?

Have you noticed any difference in the light spread / intensity/ distance with leds compared to the xenon?

70mph drone
Well is does go very nicely, I had a 2015 Golf R estate and it feels quicker on pickup than that, but that was a while ago.

70mph drone
OK so what does a res delete give you other than a drone (in my case). Is this a performance upgrade that I should be notifying to my insurers?

70mph drone
Also how can I find out what other mods may be lurking?

70mph drone
So what can I do to stop the drone - cheaply?

70mph drone
Thanks for the pic. Here is the best I can do under mine looking from back to front. This is a 66 plate so I think it has the 272 engine, is that any different. The tyres are all new with only 1000 motorway miles so doubt they have developed uneven wear. Can’t get out to a decent length of 70mph road at present but from memory the drone disappears at around 3000+ rpm. Hope this helps and very interested in any ideas?

70mph drone
Getting a drone from just under 70 to a “little” more, this is at around 2600 rpm in 6th, very annoying and does not happen at other speeds. This car a new to me so I suspect it may have a resonator delete or coded exhaust valves to open. Also the joiner is letting by slightly. How can I tell, what does the resonator look like? Thanks!

Rear wash system
Thanks, I tried wire but what was in the elbow was solid and must have been there for a long time. Now it is running I think a pipe cleaner from above will sort it. I removed the trim in 5 minutes without issue but it did take 30 to replace!!

Rear wash system
Is there a no return valve in the stem of the rear wiper mechanism that feeds to the elbow below the jet? Mine was blocked so I started at the bottle and checked the pump which was fine and then went to the back and found a blockage. Using pipe cleaners from above and below they came back out with a lot of rust on them, it looked like it had solidified. WD40 and a lot of wiggling around eventually loosened it and then blowing it through it went pop and cleared. Now working fine but I suspect it may happen again. Also when popping off the lower elbow I damaged one of the wings / clips so I guess it will leak eventually. Does anyone know the correct sequence for refitting the boot trim as that was a bit of a trial?

Both rear springs broken
More info - the pr codes are Front is G04 (shock front), L07 (spring), rear shock 1JP, rear spring 0YE so I guess that is a standard ride height. The more elderly Superb drivers may like the waterbed and having only owned it for a short while and driven on motorways it is very comfy even with 2 broken springs! BUT there are B roads and European hairpins to be driven so would a 10% increase in stiffness be sufficient and would I have to do the front as well?

Thanks to you all lots of options, now got to work on build codes, I dare say a search here will bring up a how to decipher.
