Hi guys, took my car to my local garage to try and sorce my knocking noise. They found slight play in my steering rods (the ones that go into the steering rack) got them both repalced and tracked up for £40 cannot complain! But still have a knocking noise, they looked at everything apart from the top mounts so I guess its them, having had AP coiliovers for just over a year I dont think its too bad. What do people reccomend? Yeah it had a new cam belt at late 60k if I rememeber correctly. Ahh good stuff, I think I'll just repalce the coolant tank then

Hi guys, After doing reasearch on the what looks to be very common problem with the expansion tank (Alram going off inside the cabin saying to top up coolant, only to find its fine) So im going to buying a new expanion tank w/ sensor, but is it worth draining the whole coolant system and replacing? My Fabia's coming up to 100k miles and I'd guess doesn't get replaced to often. What are you thoughts? Cheers Kris

Ah cool, glad i asked the question I cant wait haha! Then in 2 minds weather to do the wide mouth, but unsure about were to mount the licence plate and it actually look good lol! Seen the 3/4 size plate, but seem a grey if they are legal or not..

So its pretty straight forward! Its the first time I would of fitted a front mount so was jsut double checking. I feel pretty confident about it tho

Hi guys, so i bought a Airtec intercooler from awesome gti after taking advantage of there Black Friday offer! I should hopefull be getting it later this week! People who have fitted these, anything too look out for? Or is it pretty simple? From reading I believe there's a small amount of hacking to do on the front crash bar, other than that is it pretty straight forward? Cheers Kris

Right I'll start with something random that could be the issue. My brake light switch failed the other day, so finally got round to sorting it, went to my local parts dealer who didn't have the exact same one in stock, but said to try it. So fitted it and turned off the epc an engine management light and it seems to work fine as no more light on the dash. But I have noticed that the indicators do not self cancel now, but whats strange, it'll click down left and not self cancel, but it won't click up (right) it'll flash as a lane change signal but not click up and stay up. Could I of disturbed the stalk when I was removing some of the dash? Or could be a fuse. I'm pretty confused about it to be honest lol. Any ideas are welcome

Hmm can't say I've tried doing that, I will have to try that tomorrow, definitely sounds plausible! Tbf I don't do much harsh driving anyway, It's coming up to 100k soon so I guess it's done alright! I'll update my post tomorrow, thanks for the help, sounds really likely
