  1. Finished driving car should be at skodafest this year
  2. Fabia project still work in progress, rear cage fitted and seats in, itโ€™s a less is more
  3. Hi mate thatโ€™s my project quite straight forward, nearly finished got all the fiddly bits to do. If you need any pointers give me a shout ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป
  4. Itโ€™s a bit like an old tamiya rc car changing the shells I gutted the Skoda and topped the tt and welded them together, Iโ€™ve got a full cage to go in which will be connected to both shell and chassis for strength. I think doing it this way was the most straightforward, my brother did the same with his firenza, Impreza floor pan firenza body
  5. I can get a wide arch kit from pesch motorsport as a last resort, Iโ€™ll see how far I can push the arches at the back, the front should be easier as I can stagger the rear of the wing out and create width
  6. In a good or bad way ? Doing it this way meant parts for the running gear is available of the shelf no wiring issues or dodgy driveshafts
  7. The tt width and length are within a few inches of the Fabia so centred the wheels in the arches, and centred the body, had to take a few inches off the front chassis legs though, Iโ€™m trying to keep the body standard but may have to roll the arches to cover the wheels. electrics wise itโ€™s a case of repinning the lights to suit. Iโ€™m no mechanic but itโ€™s quite straightforward being vag group cars more pictures on my Instagram paulthack
  8. I try and do a bit when I get the chance, still a fair bit to do
  9. Got a cosworth intercooler sorted good old eBay slowly moving forward
  10. It was a 1.4 mpi engine only done 55k miles from new couldnโ€™t give it away so scrap man took it. hereโ€™s a pic I took today full TT running gear
  11. Project 4x4 fabia is coming along, bumpers and wings not in final position just positioned for effect
  12. Had a good look round the pipe work today nothing looks wrong, all vacuum tight, changed the vacuum box, cleaned the egr again, good vacuum at the actuator which is free moving. Just completed 350 miles pottering around Yorkshire averaged 55 to the gallon with no loss in power so going to ignore it for now and see what happens. cheers Paul
  13. Cheers mate will have a look over the weekend, Iโ€™ll keep you posted
  14. thanks again just studied the diagram deeper and realised, cheers
  15. Hi thanks for the reply does the vrs have item 10 solenoid as on the first schematic ? i have changed the egr valve and cleaned it so like new, diaphragm seems ok. Also changed the vacuum box but still have a management light on. No change in power pulls well but i do have a high pitched whistle at tickover which wasnt there before the light came on Cheers Paul
  16. Help required on my vrs please 1.9tdi asz code. I have the engine management light on the dashboard, had it scanned gave a code 19586/P3130/012592 - EGR System: Regulation Range Exceeded i have changed the egr valve as per Ross tech who also say change the n18 valve but I canโ€™t find it for looking, anyone point me in the right direction cheers Paul
