Workshop manual for timing up the BLT vrs engine
ThEgOg PMX replied to ThEgOg PMX's topic in Skoda Fabia Mk I (1999-2007)
Thank you 👍 -
Morning guys, Does anyone have a pdf of the workshop manual for the fabia VRS, BLT if possible? I need to time mine up from scratch, I've seen the guide for changing the belt but I need the workshop procedure if poss. Not sure whether the BLT crank pulley markings changed, my usual pd tooling doesn't seem compatible. I've tried a few link on the forum, some list the right model, when you open the pdfs though the pages are blank for some reason. Thanks in advance

where abouts are you? -
Is the front passenger side seatbelt available? If it's in full working order how much? Cheers

hi, my passenger belt needs replacing on my vrs, it was very slow to retract so i attempted cleaning it in soapy water then clipped it out so it could dry over a couple of days. problem is now it won't retract at all. so, are all the belts the same or do i require one from another vrs? anything particular i need to know or is it a bolt off bolt on job after removing trims etc? thanks i advance

will an ARL engine fit in VRS?
ThEgOg PMX replied to ThEgOg PMX's topic in Skoda Fabia Mk I (1999-2007)
cheers for the info guys -
hi:) i may be able to get my hands on a cheap pd150 ARL engine and running gear with lowish mileage, my vrs is now on 160k and has headgasket problems and a slight rattle is starting from the clutch. so i'm looking for alternatives to head rebuilds etc. does anyone know if the block and head are the same on the ASZ & ARL? i'm pretty sure i've read before they are pretty much the same engine. i've changed engines/cylinder heads/gearboxes before so have no issues with doing the physical swap. many thanks for your time

hi:) i have a set of 312mm front brakes, calipers, carriers discs and pads that i want to use to upgrade my vrs brakes at some point. they're probably useable as is, however i'd like to refurb them myself as its something i haven't done before. does anyone know of any decent guides on rebuilding calipers? i've got a fair idea but a guide would be really useful. thanks in advance:)
