  4. My fabia has new door seal kit in it! and hardly any road noise at all! but noticed a big redution in noise when i changed tyres too so tbh that might have something to do with it too! had a 1.8T golf mk4 aswell as VRS fab and fabia is much nicer to drive and rear leg room dif is minimal both are poor imo but they are not big luxury cars! boot is the only thing that majorly differs as the golf does have a much bigger boot! but the golf was awful and i mean awful to drive! as much as this is a swear word on a skoda forum...... my focus st170 was the nicest car ive driven in that category of cars haha but if i were u id go fabia cheap to insure cheap to run quick enough and feels solid plus bits are mega cheap for it too! apologies for the essay if you wanna know anything more pm me cheers

  10. hmmm cheers guys i like the look of the ibiza FR seats like they look tidy! dont understand why skoda made the seats white? surely that would have raised eyebrows at the design team,,, ach well must have been a friday eh? lol ....

  12. Hi guys, looking for some new seats for my fabby 2005 VRS. i really like the seats out of the old (6n) platform ibiza do they fit? and what are all the cars that will fit directly into the fabia? thanks
  13. To be honest forget claiming you wont get anything trust me.... What to do get up in the attic scramble across to where the roof trusses butt against the wall below peer over with a torch you will be able to if there is insulation inside, or lick the tip of your finger and hover it above the 'cavity' if it feels like there is a draft there there is no insulation. if you find there is no insulation either by some insulation but not kingspan (board style) or rockwool the rolls of it! because these are a nightmare to get inside a 50mm-75mm cavity. Now if you live near to a farm buy sheeps wool from them and ram that into the cavity sheeps wool is a very good insualator and i'm pretty sure its still mega cheap! but to be honest a north facing wall will always be cold because its the wall with the least sun light on it so therefor during the day is does not conduct the same heat as the others so in the morning after a cold night it will feel a lot colder? i hope this makes sense! but i suggest if its really really cold then there is probably a lack of insulation but what ever you do DO NOT block any of the cavity ventillation found on the exterior walls. seen it done before 'to reduce cold drafts' but those cold drafts which flow up the inside of the external brickwork skin are what allows the building to dry out after prolonged wet periods which stop damp etc etc, if you have any questions PM me ps i am a building surveyor...
  14. looks mint mate love the colour looks nice with the black to break it up!
