evening all , I am fancying another vrs again after 2years sinice I sold the last 1 , had a few things inbetween , Volvo 850r , Honda accord type r , and now astra van 1.7dti which bores the hell out of me , I still own the cossie so if I get another vrs I wont be goin to mad with the mods , exhaust , remap , sai and the n249 delete . so is any 1 selling any nice motors , I had a look in the for sale section but couldn't find anything , and I missed a yellow 1 local to me which ended on ebay before I had chance to phone the fella cheers

not the best, heard that he charges people for a revo when he uploads a custom file , had mine revo,d and couldnt feel any difference in performance , done some data logs and there was a problem somewhere but he couldnt tell me what was causing it. got me money back and will be goin elsewhere when funds allow , theres a place in boro called big fish tuning which are meant to be good

when a was on with fitting mine i got a diesel center pipe and tryed that in , was far to loud for me , sounded very chavery aswell , so will just wait till a nice piper or miltek comes up for sale

theres not a lot of diff in noise or performance with just the downpipe and decat fitted ,it probs needs a few more psi thro it to help tho lol , and a just put new bolts in the clamp

yeah its off a volvo and the turbo is in the same place as the vrs so it shouldnt be to hard to make the downpipe , only other option for the intercooler is to go BAM inlet but am not to sure on how to make the wires fit with the tb been on the other side, or custom pipe work. av got a few ideas in me head on which way to attack this , want to keep the cost down to a min.

cheers lads , a pal of mine has a ihi ibiza cupra and he got me thinking , the cost of the ihi is to much and cost of the k04 for the gains are not worth it for me , plus av got a old td04-16t in the batshed , and it would make 300bhp , althugh am only after 275/285ish from the car. this intercooler has to use the standard hard pipes thats on the car to keep cost down , i dont really want to make some custom pipe work unless i can get it done cheers , and all the other stuff i have seen dosent look the best. has any 1 moved the metal water pipe thats infront of the turbo , the 1 that causes the problems when fitting the tip

am in sunderland , a need to get the bumper off for a closer look , chances are it will fit below the crash bar and maybe cut the bumper

evening all , i have been gettin a saphire cosworth 4x4 intercooler for next to nowt. plan is to try and get it to fit on the vrs , not sure if i have the space becasue the IC is 125mm wide , 125mm in height and about 700mm long , i am trying to get hold of another 1 so i can chop the ends of and make a twin pass version of it so i can keep the pipewrork and lag down to a low. also have plans of a td04 or t3 conversion on the car soon cheers for any ideas

have you got any pics of the pipe work for the intercooler cheers

thanks dude , can go lower aswell on the coilys but its stanced right , got the chance of some bbs ch reps tonight there so shall see what happens

t3 , good turbos , what wheels are you using , just becasue the t3 of the cossies have better spool up and make more power , a pal had 347bhp with a standard 1 on his 2wd saph

cool any ideas on how much it needs extending pal
