  1. This problem has happened to me several times. My Kodiaq is 2018 with the Amundsen navigation unit and the CANTON sound system. I’m not sure if a smar****ch (in my case the Apple Watch 4) plays a role in that. I use Apple Carplay with a wireless adapter (but a similar problem has happened before without a wireless adapter). This usually happens after I receive a call via whatsapp or facebook messenger. After the call is completed, the system remains muted, instead of returning to the song (or radio station) that was played before the call. Whatever I tried, there is no sound, not even switching to another radio station or other source in Amundsen, disconnecting carplay, etc. Restarting the iPhone or Amundsen didn’t help as already explained here (because it returns to the same state). The only thing that helps is turn off the car, lock it, wait a while (today that was enough for 1 min) and start it again.

    Top VCDS mods?

I have enabled HHC with VCDS on my Yeti long time ago... My Yeti is 2.0 TDI 4x4 170 from 2010... I also enabled it to my friend's Yeti (2.0 TDI 4x4 110). ABS module must be with integrated inclination sensor G251 and every Yeti with OFF ROAD has it. See this thread: http://www.briskoda.net/forums/topic/317483-off-road-button-hill-hold/#entry3802661

    Hill hold issue

Just follow this and disable HHC if you don't like it:: http://www.myturbodiesel.com/wiki/hill-hold-activation-and-disable-with-vcds-mk6-vw/
  4. I know from Pre FL Yeti that every one with Off Road button has possibility to switch ON Hill Hold with VCDS. This is because Off Road button require inclination sensor which is also necessary for Hill Hold. I switched ON Hill Hold function on few Pre FL Yetis which originally specs to be without Hill Hold function (including my 4x4 170 from 2010). It is also possible to adjust holding time (by default it is 2 sec) with VCDS.
  5. It seems your Polo has LIN-BUS for windows like Fabia 1 after FL. Only cars with CAN BUS can do above mentioned change with VDS PRO.If you open 46 with VCDS and if you don't have response from each door like this - that means you don not have CAN BUS (you have LIN BUS): Address 46: Central Conv. Labels: 6Q0-959-433.LBL Part No: 6Q0 959 433 E Component: 2T Komfortgerát 0002 Coding: 00259 Shop #: WSC 13765 Part No: 6Q1959801A Component: 2T T?rsteuer.FS TFK 0004 Part No: 6Q1959802A Component: 2T T?rsteuer.BF TFK 0004 Part No: 6Q0959811A Component: 2T T?rsteuer.HL TFK 0004 Part No: 6Q0959812A Component: 2T T?rsteuer.HR TFK 0004
  6. I just reported to my dealer about problem with driver seat heating element (seat part). They order it and I am waiting to be replaced. My Yeti is 3 years old and still under warranty (we have 4 years warranty in Croatia). Same problem with heating element I have on my Fabia (when was 7 years old) and after it was replaced by dealer it stays OK so far (Fabia is 13 years old now).
  7. It will make difference! When you disable it, you will get alarm when you switch lights ON.If this is not disable than "cold diagnostic" is active which means as soon you turn your ignition key, all circuit is tested by the system and you have alarm immediately without switching lights on.Anyway you can't fool system with this - in both cases you have alarm...
  8. I have done this change on my Fabia, but first remember this: Your Fabia has to be produced before the facelift, i.e. until June 2004! If your Fabia is produced after facelift 2004, below procedure will not work even with same CCM. Here is procedure c/p: Don´t forget to write down the original values of following addresses! Do not use this when you have the "driver´s door unlocked first" feature activated on your car - autowindow works only when all doors are unlocked = 2x unlock and hold... Then follow these steps: comfort 46 login 11 - 19283 27 - recoding into eeprom 4361 - deduct 8 4362 - deduct 8 4363 - deduct 8 ---------------------------- driver´s door 8224 - add 16 8269 - add 16 8314 - add 16 ----------------------------- front passenger´s door 12320 - add 16 12365 - add 16 12410 - add 16 ---------------------------- RL door if powered 16416 - add 16 16461 - add 16 16506 - add 16 ----------------------------- RR door if powered 20512 - add 16 20557 - add 16 20602 - add 16 - all the values are in hexadecimal system - the value of 4631 was 8A, after deduction of 8 the value was 82 - all changed channels were transcribed in this way - the value of 8224 was 4F, after adding of 16 we inserted 5F - the same with the others
  9. This is something like I have been having on my Yeti too. What you explain here, I believe is different problem than in other posts before. This "click" seems like coming from rear suspension, so when I reported it to my Skoda dealer in Croatia, they spend almost all day (together with me on the end) to find where this "click" coming from. All possible source on rear suspension and rear bumpers were checked, but sound is not coming from there. Than we figure out that "click" disappear when you keep pulling rear door (right door in my case) with strong power. So first solution is to readjust rear door, but after few days "click" will come back. Skoda already has some "service bulletin" about it and will change under warranty this part (I don't know correct part name in English) to customers who reported this problem: This is affecting Yeti produced up to 11/2010 It is easy to find out if you have old or new model of this part - old ones are black, new ones are in "chrome" (silver) color. After this was replaced on my Yeti, I never hear this "click" anymore. So far no need to replace all of them; in my case they just replaced on right side on front and rear door (my car is LHD of course).

    Boot light

Yeti use W5W - same as my old Fabia Elegance Mk1. This is original lights from Fabia and Yeti - all I replaced with same LED light from Superskoda: Two Red ligts on right side are from my Fabia front doors, left red one is from Yeti door. White one is from Yeti's boot (same also in Fabia boot). I have scan it after replacement with VCDS many times - no any fault.
  11. Vuk

    Boot light

Red lights in the bottom of front doors are non CANBUS too. I replaced them with same white LED like for boot from Superskoda and it is not activating any fault. On Superskoda you can see that light for boot and white lights for front doors as separate item, but this is actauly same light. This is original red light: which I replaced with this one: which is again same as this one: If you don't like white light on the doors, superskoda now offering also RED LED lights...
  12. One small test - camera in Fabia vs parking sensors in Yeti: ...in Fabia on screen by camera this distance between cars...... and than same distance shown in Yeti:
  13. No, on Fabia 1 there is no bulb fault monitoring for licence plate light (only headlight on mine).
  14. Sometimes on ebay, I am not sure now ( I ordered it more than year ago). Not sure about your OEM multi CD player compatibilty with this unit. For maps it use Igo 8 and Igo Primo and this working good enough in Croatia. It has wires for can bus connection (that unit can be read with diagnostic tool etc), but I did not connect it as it was not necessary for my Fabia. I don't have Maxidot on Fabia.
  15. It is not so hard to route cables, here is some photos which I took during cable installation for camera: It is also easy to remove boot trim, just pull it out: Once you there just go through one side of the roof above doors. Than pass A-pillar and dashboard to head unit.
  16. This I done on my Fabia (2000) long time ago with VDS PRO: http://www.youtube.com/user/Vuk1975?feature=mhee#p/u/27/mN2VhYHB6Yw one more Fabia (2000): http://www.youtube.com/user/Vuk1975?feature=mhee#p/u/14/rGrnV8VAzkk and my brother's Ibiza (2004) http://www.youtube.com/user/Vuk1975?feature=mhee#p/u/25/O37S9YmOxgI But, so far I found it can not be done on facelift Fabia 1 and Ibiza, even CCM is same.

    170 TDI Mpg

I have 170 CR engine in Yeti and here is my mileage - it is in litres per 100 kilometers and you can translate it to Mpg. Photos are from yesterday and I have average temperature here in Croatia (Dalmatia) for last 10 days about 15 Celsius. I found also that Board Computer in Yeti was to optimistic, so I calibrate it by VCDS and is showing very accurate now (adjusted to show 6% more than originaly). I reset memory 2 on BC last time when I refuel car, than I drive 904 kilometers and refuel full tank again - with 52 litres. Calculation will give 5.7 litres/100 km and BC shows now 5.6/100 km which I believe is accurate enough. Driving was in the city and local roads with no highway (when I driving on highway consumption increases up to 9 l/100 km).
  21. Here is leather seats on my Yeti (LHD of course) after 28 000 km:
  22. Music is from local radio station in my place - I did not pay attention to this - sorry
  23. Similar discussion we have recently on Croatian Skoda forum and I have to took photos to show how it is. It is true, later Skoda cars does not have light in socket anymore. Here is from my 11 years old Fabia: when lighter is removed: And here is from 2010 Yeti - no any lights there: Both cars are with top level equipment.
