I have been told it is this part. I have found the part number 4Z7 907 357 for the electronic control unit for headlight range control from http://www.auto-part...clqQLXH5YUmU086 :wall:So if any one has any ideas.

Flabio Yea fair enough But I don't want to take a mortgage out to get the oil and filters changed as to be fair that is all they will really do. Any way sorted now

As the title says Help needed to locate the control unit I was informed it was in the boot ?? I have taken apart the trim and can only find the alarm thingy and the fuel cap solenoid any help would be great thanks. Ian

MilanM They are all pretty much the same as long as your boot "pop's" all should be good.

It looks like Browser has used up-rated gas struts as the one's on my Superb are smaller and silver.

Excellent will have a go at this hopefully the washers and added pressure wont impact on the life span of the gas struts to much. But I think it will be worth it Thanks to Allclownsareevil
