From another tread on the Superb forum it appears that split rear seats were introduced on cars built from mid May 2004. My 54 reg (Nov 2004) has them. Some very late 04 plates may have them. It might be dangerous to assume that all 54 reg cars have them as early registrations might be from old stock.

Picked up a revised Superb brochure a couple of weeks ago (Oct edition) and it states that 2.0TDi will commence production in week 42 (mid October). The 1.9 130bhp will be phased out and the 1.9 100bhp will be replaced with a 105 bhp Euro IV version. Only stock vehicles of the 130 and 100 bhp versions will be available as of now. I haven
