Well that was a HUGE disappointment !! The Grille turned up, I took it to the Spray shop, they pointed out how poor the finish was - and also that it would look even worse when painted. They also pointed out the difficulty of spraying a one piece unit around the edge but not the Honeycomb grille . He also explained that you couldnt use filler on the material that it was made out of (ABS possibly) I looked at the finish - and now i see the bumps and lumps. (My Bad) So I decide to send it back to Superskoda But it will cost me £50 in postage (quote from the Post office) If I send it back, I get €99 but it costs me fifty quid !! I would make more money selling it on Ebay!!! for now its going in the shed unused !!! (You live and learn !!!)

The Honeycomb Grille arrived today :)Obviously I held it in place as soon as I'd unwrapped it. I kind of get the look, but I'd rather wait until its fitted Getting it sprayed and fitted some time next week. Also getting the alloys sprayed Anthracite I need to get it washed and Photographed this weekend (The "Before" shots)

My mrs had P55NTO on a Punto - but we let it go with the car. Plates specific to the car should never be too expensive (unless you intend to keep buying VRS's) LOL!!

Ha Ha!!! thats Very high (I wonder if others do more...) When I bought my Octavia vRS TDI (DSG) just before Christmas, I part Exchanged my Audi S6 5.2L V10 (average / low mileage) and my Wife's Pug 107. (LOW MILEAGE) The 107 was 3 years and 2 months old (or 268 weeks)................... She had done 1,200 miles - and I recon I did about 300 of them..

on a loosley related topic, I use my iPhone4 as a phone through the cars Bluetooth and there is an option to listen to media via bluetooth (not that there isnt enough music (20gb hard drive & SD Card slot) I got it to work once - but now it doesnt. anything obvious Im doing wrong? or cant it do double bluetooth (phone & music)

Hi guys Having taken receipt only 2 hours ago, its time to mod Unless it a bad mod.... So im thinking of having the alloys painted (black to match the car) but im already having second thoughts... I understand if I kerb it, I would have to touch up, but im wondering about going to the hand wash who power washes the alloys after spraying some stuff onthem (please dont suggest I do it myself, its not gonna happen...) Also, any ideas how long it will look good for? Because if it looks tatty in 12 months, its not happening Thanks in advance Ps Im having this too...

Just collected mine Black magic vRS hatch CR DSG Columbus (just watched Harry Potter DVD for a minute LOL!!!) MDI Bluetooth Auto dim mirror / rain sensor / auto lights Spare wheel in addition to the tyre repair kit Aldi carrier bag hook inthe boot (its got everything..........) I enjoyed having a mess with the settings, but it will take me slightly longer to get to grips with the bluetooth music I plugged the phone into the MDI and I could fully work it... then I disconnected and it got messy... but I WILL sort it out tomorrow. I also finished work until 3rd Jan so I want a drink :p Cheers everyone And merry christmas

As previously mentioned - 32Gb is the max. A 32Gb card holds "About" 7000 songs !!!!! give it a go with a 4gb card from Asda - it holds "About" 800 songs Asda PNY 4Gb SDHC card Im currently using an old 2Gb card (I have 20 CD's on it and it isnt full.....)

Im also waiting Impatiently for delivery.... I spoke to my Salesman the other day and he said some come with the lead - some dont. I said mine had better come with one - he has promised me one (I asked for the Iphone one) I considered buying the USB version too - but then I realised that the Head unit has 20Gb free space and I can stick a 32Gb SD card in the slot (I suppose I could even stick a DVD full of MP3 in there too) I eventually came to the conclusion that I'd have TOO MUCH music LOL!!

I hope I get mine next week.... Chose it on 18th November. They said it was on the boat and would be 7 to 10 days then they phoned me last Friday and said.? "its on the boat and should be with you in (you guessed it) 7 to 10 days"
