Yes mine has dropped out a few times as well, I have the VRS with a DSG box, but I don't use it that often, I'll just keep an eye on it, to see if it gonna get any worse.

Where are you? It's easily done with laptop, I done my own with a ross tech cable and laptop,

Like it , certainly worth a fiver, might get one myself.

Just got a ross tech micro can from the maker in The US for £185, it's fine for all the minor adjustment you need to do

Hi Guys, I have purchased a Ross-tech VCDS and have been experimenting, I turned the sound Generator down to 0%, and enabled both rear fog lights with out any problems, I am base in BFG Germany, so if anyone wants any of the above carried out, just get in touch, Thanks to all the guys who posted the instructions on how the carry out the above changes, very helpful Regards Nige
