  1. I didn't hear anything like that. Simply plug and play aerial and off you go. Had some problems with connection as OEM aerials have different connectors than that one. Signal is not as great because it's shorter than standard whip but it Bob's my uncle:)
  2. I'm in Isleworth or Balham, London. £35 a piece with powder coat is fine but I need to fill the damages. Been quoted £25 per wheel and £15-£55 for powder coat, depending on finish, when come back.
  3. Hi guys. Do you know any cheap place in London to sand blast wheels? Got a set of 17", which I thought sand down by hand but it turned up bad, pain full to thumbs and time consuming idea. Got plenty scuffs and kerb marks from previous lady owners and need to restore them. Any better price than £25 pw?
  4. funny but no. The whole topic.
  5. Arrrrrrrrgggggggggggggggggghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!! How to delete this?!
  6. Cheers, mate. Was thinking about that sort of lower part of bumper but not now. Lip could add on firs and later that GT bumper. Still looking for some pictures ...
  7. Anyone has he's own or someone else's picture of Skoda Fabia (non VRS) fitted with front Cupra lip/skirt? Thinking of getting one done but do not have front bumper like most of members here and would like to see if it's going to look ok.
  8. Hi there. Anyone interested in Brand New set of Turner wheel bolts? They are M14 with 60degree seating, 20mm diameter head and 28mm thread length. Zinc plated high tensile steel. Set of 20 bolts with removal tool. Paid £19.99 + £2.99 P&P
  9. Guys, would it look stupid to fit one of those splitters to a normal bumper 2002 Furby rather than to a vrs or facelift one? I know it will not look pro but at least some sporty look? Regards
  10. Hi mate. I've attached mine ballasts to headlamp dust cover. Drilled few more holes for cable ties and screws as it came with metal brackets. That way you'll have all in one however there is not much room between battery and the lamp.
  11. When I was doing mine, I didn't remove the badge. Want it to be covered also. As the others say, take your time. I used hairdryer to pull it back on the corners and around. It worked. Will upload some pictures to my gallery one day. Good luck
  12. Colour is Grey, as on the pics but thinking to plastidip it. Wanting to get some non OEM bumpers before so it covers it and then do the wing mirrors in carbon aswell to match the roof
  13. Hmmm... Good point. I got lot of carbon around (chrome grill surround, front and rear number plate surround and all badges) so wanted it to match ... sort of. Thinking of doing the handles, FABIA chrome decals at the back and B pillars so it blends in. Thanx for comment, anyway Maybe, if I do the whole roof in carbon, would it hide in it?
  14. Hi guys. I'm still new and fresh to these chats and forums. However, I got a Fabia for more than a year now and trying to make it look nicer. Recently changed the original whip aerial for the aftermarket amplified shark fin bought off eBay. Starting to think that it wasn't a bright idea as it looks strange or even funny to me. Maybe its just me but I like it and got those feelings. What do you think? Any comments, suggestions? It is covered in carbon fibre foil which I've used to cover most of the other pieces inside. Sometimes I surprise myself how good things looks covered with carbon. Got few more ideas but this first, please. P.S. Please ignore state of the car. It is filthy and I know about it. Just do not have time to wash it. Lol Here it is:
  15. I was considering the same set of those bumpers. Can anyone (Simonbt) share any research result, please? Regards
  16. It is still that one I o not like the most. I would like to keep the badge and chrome surround bit.as its already covered in carbon. Thanx anyway.
  17. Yeah, seen it. Don't like any of them. Your one is wicked and the only I want. If you come x the same one in the future can you give ma a shout, please? Thanx
  18. Ahhh, forgot. I did also head unit surround and all buttons with dummies above it. Also light switch plate and air vent knobs fascia. Both did it so it covers any markings and lights. Bit dark at night but during the day looks wicked. Only back windscreen heater light is visible when its on:)
  19. Excellent work, mate. Did my grille chrome surround with badge, front number plate surround, indented place around back number plate, back badge, ALL air wents (those tiny ones next to front windscreen pilars), door lock pin surrounds and around the inner door handle. Also ashtray and around the gear gaitor, gear knob ring and steering wheel badge. Recently done shark fin aerial which installed last night but still thinking if it looks good or not. Will post some pictures as need opinion. Also, thinking of door pilars and outer door handles. How did you done yours, on the car or removed? Tonight had a dream about seat belt anchors in carbon. Will think about that
  20. Hi mate. Where did you got that grille? Cost a fortune? Doing up my 2002, 1.4L 16V 100BHP Fabia and already have a carbon covered chrome surround. That centre piece would of completed my upper part of front. Cheers for reply
  21. Mine Fabia 2002 idles revs and shakes slightly when stationery. Was heavenly but after cleaning carburettor it got down but its still there. I've add STP formula petrol injector system cleaning liquid to a full tank of petrol and there is another STP to boost it up but no result. Still idling ans shakes a bit. Also, break pedal pulsing from time to time when holding it pressed in stationery mode (traffic lights). You can feel it goes up and down little bit giving you more and less resistance under a feet. Is that got anything to do with above? It's my first car and do not want to invest much than already did to insure it. Please, help Regards
