I took delivery of my AMAZING new shiny black Superb three weeks ago now and I love it... I have cleaned it at least five times, just because I wanted to! I have a few queries that I am sure you guys can put me right on.... a) Where is the back wiper!!!!! I spent a good half hour trying to find the function on the steering wheel and then my better half said 'maybe you cannot find it as there isnt one!!!' Is there any reason for this..... I cannot seem to sync a second mobile phone - is there a trick to this? c) Having washed my cover every other day, I now want a protective cover for it (the starlings seem to like hovering above it, if you know what I mean!). I have googled a few but they vary in price so much that I need some sort of personal recommendation. d) Ok, now this is probably the most stupid thing anybody has ever done, but on my second day of ownership I parked the car in a supermarket car park, returned after approx an hour and when I returned to my car, the engine was still running (yes, I had forgotten to press the button to turn it off!). But I would have thought there must have been some sort of alarm that would stop me doing this. I am so used to turning a key and pulling it out, that I had forgotten with this KESSY system. I think thats it for now - although I am sure there will be more... the reason mainly for writing was the protective cover, so any help would be appreciated!!

Yay!!!! My lovely new car is ready for collection next Wednesday.. So all of you that have ordered around the beginning of November time, your wait should nearly be over. I am very impressed so far. From order to receiving will be about 12 weeks and they quoted me 11 - 13 for it to be built.. seven more sleeps!! And........... maybe controversially, I have asked for mudflaps to be fitted at the last minute. I hope I don't regret it.. I shall let you know and post pictures very soon. Fyi... Black Superb Elegance, Cream leather interior with black carpets, 170, DSG. Ticked every box apart from Sunroof (didnt want one).

It's being delivered to Watford though. Sorry Normandy but I would rather deal with skoda uk than skoda France. ( few and far between)

Just sitting here casually watching Coronation Street (Sorry..), and saw my phone flashing saying missed call and it was from the Skoda Garage in Watford saying 'Your Skoda has been built' !!!! What does this mean? When can I have it? I know I can phone them in the morning, but thats a long time away. Any ideas? I am beyond excited (fyi - Black Superb Elegance 170 DSG; Ivory Leather, ticked everyting apart from sunroof - my husband said its going to look like a Christmas Tree!!)

Hello, this is my very first post so be patient!! At the end of November I ordered a lovely new Superb Elegance Hatch (1.7 Diesel DSG) in Black (wanted red but they said the wait was longer) with Ivory Leather and black carpets.... I have a couple of queries. I live in France (would have preferred to buy one here but they do not sell the Superb in Diesel Auto so ordered from a very nice man in Skoda, Watford) - does the Sat Nav come with Northern European maps?... Also, I was quoted 11 - 13 weeks delivery. This I anticipate to being anytime towards the end of January. What is the likliehood of it being on time? Many thanks and looking forward to trawling the forum for lots of info...
