Hi walked up to my car yesterday morning and it made this almighty metallic bang :( after investingation found the drivers side rear spring had snapped. As I use the car over a number of different terrians (nan lives on a farm with a poor drive) I want to fit a standard spring and was wondering where is the best place to get one? As there seems to be some confusion at my local motor factors regarding it being 4x4 and a hatch not the estate. Any help apprciated. Cheers Dan

Checked connector wasn't corroded bought new sensor and management light stayed off for 2 days but now back on and if I clear it is back in a day or so. Thinking maybe rewiring the plug?? Anyother ideas appriciated cheers Dan

I made one from 5mm aluminum plate and sealed it using good quality silicone sealant

How much do you reckon the r32 parts lower the car by? As don't want car too low as Nan lives on a farm -
I do at home on holiday in Snowdonia at the moment. Will post when home next week

Arb made significant difference especially around round abouts :-) didn't think of the b6's what are they like? Only mods arb and remap, though have removed sai and looking to remove the n249 etc making engine bay neater -

They could have put a launch control but I didnt cause I know I would end up using to much I had SAI mapped out as that is removed. Didnt realise that 4x4 was a K03s turbo The torque is great, I have looked at lowering it but as is my work/everyday car wouldnt want to lower it by much thinking r32 springs etc already have r32 anti roll bars fitted which made massive difference. -
Hi had my octy 4x4 remapped last friday stage 1 very impressed. Went to Rtech in Hinckley service was excellent and power output and good torque figures car. 202 BHP with 245 lbft Making car more fun in the wet.
