  1. Thanks again. Is there an online parts catalogue anywhere so I can work out the cradles part number? The local dealer is unhelpful.
  2. Ok great. So the next question is how do you pull the Columbus out to plug the lead in to the back of it?
  3. Thanks for the reply. So is that the right changer? He doesn't have the bracket as the manual says that it should be mounted in the back right hand corner of the car and nothing is in the cubby hole. I would also guess that he'd have to change the wheel arch trim to one that can accommodate the changer? Plus I presume the car would need to be coded?
  4. Because he is an eldery gent who has no interest in MP3 and SD cards.
  5. Ok, This is the head unit he has got: Do I need a CD changer like this: And what cable would I need, one like this? http://www.ebay.de/itm/VW-Audi-Skoda-Seat-original-CD-Wechsler-Kabelsatz-neu-/190475335942?pt=DE_Autoteile&hash=item2c5936f906 Thanks
  6. I have received this reply from Shark Performance: Hi X You need to replace the steering wheel, airbag wiring loom and recode the steering wheel control module to suit. If the car doesn't already have a multi function wheel then you will need to change the steering wheel control module also. Regards Ben
  7. Ok, I've contacted them so I'll wait and see what the answer is.
  8. So far I haven't found antone who has actually done it and most responses say it can't be done.
  9. I am not sure of the name of the head unit he already has and will need to check. I know that it already has the SD-card slot though.
  10. Guys, As per my CD changer post, a colleage has a 2010 Skoda Superb estate with a DSG gearbox. The current models have paddles, is there any form of retrofit for his model? Thanks
  11. Guys, A colleague with a 2010 Skoda Superb estate has the single widescreen CD player up front and wants to add the factory CD (6 stack?) changer. Can any body advise the part number and whether the changer is the same as fitted to a VW or Audi and if so what part number that might be? I presume we'd need a cable and can anyone advise where it is mounted in the car? I am also guessing that the car would need to be coded too? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
