  1. It is difficult to explain with words the exact noise. It is as something is clicking or repositioning in the rear and happens when you are accelarating and suddently you take your foot off the accelarator pedal! The car has already been checked from bellow and the Skoda service experts said that they couldn't find anything!
  2. I know that there are already several topis on the diffrent noises and problems with the Yeti, but after reading them all I still haven't found out the reason behind the noise in my Yeti. I have a brand new YETI 2.0 TDI DSG 4x4, which I picked up from the dealer at the end of December 2011. After only 900 km or 560 miles I got this annoying noise that comes out from the rear of the car. More precisely the noise is heard when pressing the accelerator and then let go and for now this happens only in 2nd and 3rd gear! I havent heard it in 4,5 or 6 gear. However sometimes the noise is made when I go in reverse. The car has already gone to the dealer's service and although they also heard the noise they couldn't find the reason and decided that it is normal. As there are very few DSG model in my city I have high expectations that somebody here has had a similar problem and has found the way to fix it! I have a feeling that the noise is connected to the DSG. I love the YETI, but I can stand having something wrong with a brand new car! Very much looking forward recieveing some expert advice on the above!
  3. Thanks for the info! However my problem is still there! My Yeti is produced end of 2011 and the part that you mention is in "chrome". I am starting to think that the noise has something to do with the DSG! I still haven't found out what the reason is but if it still persists I will go visit the Skoda service once again and insist that they find the reason! Many thanks for your post!
  4. Hi, I got my YETI 2.0 TDI 4x4 DSG just on New Year. Its a great car, but I also got this strange clicking noise in the back when I accelarate. I took it to the dealer and they could not say what was the reason. At the end they said it is normal! I am asking around other Yeti owners with the same problem, hopefully somebody has found out the reason for the noise and can explaine how to fix it! I wounder if you have the solved the problem. Thanks in advance!
  5. Thanks for the response! It's quite unfortunate that you have not been able to solve this! I will continue trying to see what is the reason for the noise. The car is brand new and this is it's only problem. I will let you know if I find anything!
  6. Hi, I got my YETI 2.0 TDI 4x4 DSG just on New Year. Its a great car, but I also got this strange clicking noise in the back when I accelarate. I took it to the dealer and they could not say what was the reason. I wounder if you git your problem solved. If so please let me know what was the reason so I can explain it to the guys from skoda in my city and hopefully it can get fixed and I can stop worring about this issue. Thanks in advance!
  7. Hi Ben, were you able to solve the noise problem? Some feedback would be very welcomed as I would like to solve this issue too!
  8. HI everyone! I am an owner of new Skoda YETI 2.0 TDI 4x4 DSG since New Year! As an overall I am very happy with the Yeti. Still has to be tested in the outdoors to see the off road function. Bad thing is that I have noticed some strange noise. I just posted a comment on this issue. Hopefully I can get some feedback and solve this issue.
  9. Hi, It seems I got a similar issue. I got my new Yeti 2.0 TDI 4x4 DSG on NEW YEAR. I have made 700 km of driving and since last week I have been hearing a strange noise comming from the back. The noise is something like a click and it is obvious when I press harder the accelerator and then let go. This happens specially in lower gears. I took the car to the reapir service in my city and made a drive with the guys from Skoda. We made a ride together and they also could hear the noise and checked the car from bellow. After 30 min they came back and told me that everything looks OK. However the car still makes that noise from time to time. If anybody can tell me what the reason is and how to fix it I will go and tell that to the service guys so it can get fixed. I like the YETI very much and I waited for 3 months to get it, but it is a bit anoying to think that your brand new car has a problem since day one. Thanks in advance!
