  1. I have the older version of the hellcat. Great bike for what I paid for it, always liked Carrera bikes. When the time comes to change again it will be another Carrera for me and I've never had a issue with my local Halfords either.
  2. Hello from another Jack Briskodian
  3. Read this review in Auto Express last week I think it was. Surprised that the Vitara came out on top but then again it never ceases to amaze me. On a separate note my dad was so impressed with my Suzuki that he went and ordered a SX4 S-Cross 1.6 Ddis SZ-T last week. Picked it up yesterday and from what I've seen of it its a nice little run around for him. He needs some time to suss out some of the features but all in all I think he's pleased with it. We are now a 2 Suzuki car family.
  4. Another vote for Suzuki dealers. I had great service from my local dealer when I bought my Vitara 6 weeks ago. So much so my father went and ordered a brand new sx4 s-cross yesterday.
  5. I hope they are wearing masks coz at those prices they need to be!
  6. I gotta say it looks as if it's quite at home there. Wish we snow like that down here so I could experience the cars true potential
  7. £25k! Let us know what you think of it if you don't mind.
  8. Thanks for the info Amanda. I take it that is done by the other button on the steering wheel next to the cancel button?
  9. Well I'm back at home now after my few days away and I can not praise the Vitara enough. It's dealt with mud, water from floods and country lanes and it took it all in its stride. Fully loaded with 2 adults a dog and all the bags it managed a very respectable 65mpg at motorway speeds from South Wales down to Devon. £45 to fill the tank and that has got me there and back including local driving every day and I still have quarter of a tank left! The seats were very comfy on the first proper run I've taken it on and the Sat Nav worked great as well. One thing I'm not so keen on is the radar cruise control, very temperamental and brakes for to early for my liking. Think I would prefer normal cruise. 1100 miles on the clock now and overall very very happy with the car.
  10. They're not bright enough to dazzle them. I had them on my Octavia and they set the car off nicely. Lots of manufacturers are now fitting LED bulbs as standard.
  11. No actually lol. The camera works brilliantly with the standard light bulbs. It's just I prefer the look of the LED bulbs
  12. Well today us the day I'm hoping to sample it's amazing economy Out of interest does anyone know if putting LED number plate bulbs in will throw up any error messages on the dash?
  13. It's not to everyone's taste I give you that but in glad the colour has grown on you. I opted against the orange as there's far too many Ford Kugas around my way in that colour although I do like it.No more thoughts on it at the moment and still enjoying putting some miles on it. I'm taking it to Devon on Tuesday so that will be a nice run for it
  14. Turquoise is how it is described in the brochure and I much prefer this colour to the burnt orange.
  15. First dry day I've had since picking the car up so thought I would upload a pic of it. May not be everyone's choice of colour but I love it.
  16. Aspman Don't know you personally and I don't think we have spoken on here before but that's not relevant. All I can say is I'm so very sorry to hear of the terrible time you and your son have experienced. Remember your wife for the brilliant person she no doubt was and share those memories with your son on a regular basis. All the best and my thoughts and condolences go out to you and your son. Neil
  17. Neither would I. Two completely different ends of the spectrum in my opinion.
  18. It's the sz5 model with the 1.6 diesel engine. Finished in turquoise with the black roof grille and wing mirrors. So far driven 250 miles mostly around town and am averaging 50 to the gallon although I expect this to rise once it's run in properly. Sat nav and on board phone and Bluetooth all work well however I can't get the mirrorlink to work with my Samsung Note 4. So far I have found the build quality to be quite impressive with no squeaks or rattles. The engine appears quiet until revved hard. Obviously performance is substantially different to the vRS but then so are the running costs. Service from the dealer J&J Motors in Swansea was absolutely impeccable I really couldn't fault them. Needless to say in looking forward to racking up some miles in it now. Neil
  19. Picked my Vitara up last week and absolutely love it. Such a change from the Octy vRS though lol.
  20. Happy Christmas fellow Briskodians. May you all have a great day and a safe and prosperous New Year.
  21. I'm usually so carefull,I was watching the front end swing around and looking in the wing mirror and didn't realise how close I was on this side. I'm so annoyed with myself
  22. Reversed into the corner of a wall post.
