  1. Yes a common problem, I initially tried to join the broken wire with cable electric connectors but they soon broke apart. So get some extra wire and solder the broken wire with an extra length. Sorted my issues immediately and all the breaks were from the drivers side. Hope this helps.

  3. Hi I've been driving fabias for five years and have loved the little cars, now have a 2008 1.2htp from new. Great car but now out of warranty so all work will be done by yours truly. Hence I have taken the plunge to join this wonderful pool of knowledge, I have already used the site to diagnose and fix a heater resistor failure, and a couple of other minor repairs. Unfortunately when replacing the resistor I have managed to set off a fault resulting in the airbag warning light to come on. Forgot to replace the passenger airbag on off switch before putting the negative lead back onto the battery, oops hasty. As I have seen in other posts the KAM has logged this and it wont go away. Has anyone got any advice or do I have to crawl back to skoda to have it looked at?
