  1. Hi guys as the title says. The centre rear seat belt mechanism has totally locked up. Locked up so tight you'd hardly get your fingers in behind the belt. Dropping the back seat gives me a little play but the mechanism is locked up. Im trying to figure out how to access the mechanism. Its in the middle of the back seat. Does the seat back come off? If yes how do I take it off? Seems to be all sewn up around the edges. Any help much appreciated
  2. Hi Danoid thanks for reply. I'm starting to think it may be from one of the undertrays/heatshields rattling in the wind. It's more so on the motorway but when I slip off to my exit it's a smoother road surface and the rattle stops even when I keep up the 60mph. It's maddening. Its times like these I would love a shed and a decent 2 post lift and just strip it all down. Trying to explain all this to a busy technician is a waste of time. I see them rolling their eyes already lol
  3. Thanks for the reply. I don't know tbh but it's fair annoying. I have tried the silicone spray and also putting cloth tape on the door latch and seat latch. Made no difference unfortunately.
  4. Hi guys I've a 2021 Skoda Superb combi Style. When I'm on the motor way there's an annoying rattle coming from the rear passenger side seat.. if I drop the sear it quietens it considerable but if I raise it up even half way the noise is back. It actually sounds like wind but it 100% isn't. I'm at a loss here and would appreciate any feedback. I thought maybe the seat bolster clips might have been a little loose so I gave it a couple of slaps..all I succeeded in doing was cracking the plastic frame!
  5. So as way of an update. I called to Skoda today and that particular headlight is indeed a sealed unit. The service manager did say that there is a way of replacing one of the bulbs but wouldn't elaborate..has anyone and idea what he's talking about? Nothing online
  6. Thank you sir. I went to a reputable tyre shop this morning and they adjusted the headlights. One was down one was up so I'll know later this eve. Your the 2nd person to say the headlights are a sealed unit which must be replaced as a whole. Any idea of cost of new headlight? I did check that headlight distance setting. It was at 1 so I put it to zero as that's the highest setting. Thanks for taking the time to reply
  7. Hi guys new to me 2021 Style 2.0tdi 150bhp dsg estate..can someone please advise what is the set up with the led headlights? I do not have matrix they are just standard led. Is there just one h7 led bulb per headlight behind the mirrors or what is the story? My beam is all over the place and I'm wondering can I use a regular beam setter to refocus them. Any information much appreciated. Anyone know what bulb is it if not a h7 led or a part number be great.
  8. An update on my original post. In MY case after trying all the reset procedures I could find and lubricating the runners with silicone spray I bought the switches. 84e here in Eire. Just fitted them thanks to some helpful threads here and problem solved. Thanks everyone
  9. Hi guys my 2017 Superb the drivers one touch works on close but not on opening. I have to keep my finger on it. I've tried the various reset procedures nothing works. Other 3 windows and global opening and closing are working 100% its just the drivers. I've ordered a new switch pack. I hope I haven't jumped the gun. Any thoughts?
  10. No it was left open either by the seller or my son in law who was looking around the car. I just sat into it and whack. I am sickened to say the least!
  11. Hi guys just broke the spectacle holder in my 17 Superb literally 5 mins after buying it. Ive ordered a replacement and I'm wondering if anyone on here has any tips or tricks they wouldn't mind sharing..I've attached a pic of replacement part 50e from main dealer so not too bad
