hi all i have just got a forge split r for 50 quid (result i thought its in good nick) and as far as i can work out you turn the top fully anticlock then fit it, start the engine from cold and then turn the top clockwise untill the valve stops clicking. The trouble is vac hose it clamped to the top and will only twist so much so do i have to keep taking the vac pipe on and off till it stops makeing nosies. Seems a bit of a silly way to do it is the right way or is there an easier one. many thanks

Dose any one know where I can get a vr6 clutch and g60 flywheel supplied and fitted for reasonable money in or near kent

I think it is it has a flange on one end will the car still run well with it on with out a remap as I won't have the money for that. Many thanks and sorry about my spelling .

Hi I have a Octavia vrs 1.8t and a friend of mine has offered me a 200 cell sports cat. The car is completely standard is it worth me getting it. The clutch is going to be done next week (vr6/g60). I am not planning on having it remapped as its a lot of money and the car has done 100,000 miles. If it is still worth getting and I fit it will I have problems with the lumber sensor bringing up the engine management light. Many thanks.

hi all i have a mk1 octavia vrs on a 05 plate. I have a small problem with the brakes when i brake with a light to medium pressure it feels like i have a warped disc but if i brake fairly hard (or very hard ) it dose not do it and it pulls straite. i have tryed going fast and doing heavy brakeing to clean the discs off but it has made no difference. Any one had the same problem or got any ideas ???? many thanks.

bit of a cheek but if you dont ask you dont get i will give 110 for it posted and i know you said it all works and is in good condition but have the cables been cut or can it just be plugged strait in

thanks for your comments car is standard at the min wiyh 90 odd thousand miles i was only planning to get it mapped. the clutch has not started slipping yet but the peddle is high. will the standard fly wheel last for the lengh of another clutch ??

hi all i read an artical the other day about swapping duel mass flywheels to single mass. The artical said that it can cause more stress on other parts of the engine and said that people have had problems with things like cambelts since swapping admittedly they were talking about desiel cars but i woundered if it would cause any problems on a turbo petrol. Has any one had any problems since swapping ?? I was going to go for a vr6 clutch and g60 flywheel but since reading that i am not to sure.

hi intrested in the matts and sub are they propper vrs mats and is the sub a under the seat job. And where are you and have you got any pics sorry about all the questions many thanks
