  1. Hi all, I've searched this problem but can't find anything similar so a point in the right direction would be lovely. I have a fault with the central locking on the drivers door Lock central locking, all doors lock fine Unlock central locking, drivers door does not unlock, silver button does not pop up. all other doors unlock fine Tried pressing unlock button constantly, still no unlock, Tried pressing lock and unlock alternately, still no unlock Tried the unlock/ lock button on the door panel, still no unlock Tried pulling internal door handle, it won't open or unlock Tried pulling silver button up, it won't budge Tried turning on the ignition, and trying all the above still no joy Get in through passenger door drive down the road, keep pressing internal lock/unlock button alternately and suddenly hey presto, it unlocks any ideas? TIA Binz
  2. Sorry B1ackb1rd, my question was more, how did you solve the fix, what was the problem that was causing it and what parts did you replace. Any help would be appreciated
  3. Hi b1ackb1rd How did you get on with your window and door lock problem, I've got the same thing happening on my 53 Fabia. Did the door conector fix it or was it a more expensive fix? Binz
  4. Hi Kenny, What was the end result with this fault, my Vrs has started doing the exact same thing this morning. Windows constantly going down, central locking clicking away, unable to get and control from the remote. Just about to remove fuse 49 to keep the windows up as its lashing down with rain :(
  5. Brought my vRS furby from them 2nd hand, friendly sales team. Took it back a year later for a service/MOT, they were friendly, helpful & kept my car clean and tidy & unlike the last time I used a ford main dealer they actually serviced it. The service desk man was on the ball, remembered my name, remembered the stearing problem. Not my local dealer, but worth the travel from Rochester to Ashford. When the Galaxy is ready to go, heck faceless Fords have lost the game, shame to Roomsters too small, but Caffyns you're in the running for the Octy vRS estate sale.
  6. saw an old fiesta tonight with R4VER - RAVER
  7. Not wishing to start a new thread, I park mine (vRS 53plate) in the drive on a hill and in certain weather conditions - mainly cooler than 10 deg. The PAS light repeatedly comes on when I start it up, (never at any other time), the steering goes heavy. I turn the engine off and start it again and 99% of the time it clears, accasionaly it requires a 3rd start. I took it to the dealer last year and he said they couldn't find anything wrong on the computer readout. On his sudgestion I tried tried parking it round the other way and recorded the details of every time it failed, I've got a 3yr warranty service in a few days and as the temp has dropped its started playing up again. The car is totally bog standard apart from an aftermarket stereo (which was fitted by the previous owner) any ideas?

  9. Yep, enjoyed competing on the Cartell & Audisport Internationals - when rallying went through the night, where sleep wasn't an option! - and various national championship events in the Estelle. Took the Favorite to Belfast for some tarmac on the Ulster, and done the Network Q rally Great Britain '93. missed out to go to Checz in 94 (cash :( ) Serviced in Belgium in the Felicia. Proud of the name Skoda, but never had one as a road car till now, treated myself to a birthday prezzie
  10. Mainly based round the tunnel area of Dartford, and the belong to the Borough 18MC.
  11. Hi folks, Just brought a Furby vRS. 2yrs old, but low mileage (the car not me) Have been into Skodas for a few years, competed on the Skoda Trophy from 89-95 Co-driven a GpA Estelle, GpN Favorite and serviced crewed on a GpN Felicia, but finally took the plunge and brought one myself after a rather long test drive. Based in the North West Kent area, and if any of you are into road rallying, navigationals or 12 cars.......... I'll send you details of the rally club or if I get round to finishing the site, I'll post the link
  12. This may not work, but try typing in "Skoda" and "workshop" into the ebay search facility. :orb_cold:
