Im going! On the speed freaks stand. Look for the red fabia with blue tape over the whole rear end! I always end up with a black boot so im trying a different aproach to keeping it clean! Haha Does this make me a 'scene' whore? :(

THS cooler is good 280quid inc vat and postage from awesome gti! My mate has the airtech one it looks good but i prefer my THS one.

There are two racks available for the vrs as i changed mine recently. There is a none electric and an electric rack. Make sure you get the electric rack as thats the one for a vrs sorry for not being much help but i dont have the part numbers :(

Steering racks are easy to fit! Takes about an hour in total to remove mate just remember you need your car tracked too after you have another fitted.

You guys must be unlucky then lol im running 230 and i dont have a problem... If you have the 3 layer head gasket i have heard of it leaking through the layers.

Mine did it when i had a stage 1 map on. Id advise you to get it mapped again asap mate! And also the headlift thing is incorrect. There is no way you will get headlift at 200-230 bhp. You only just get it at over 300. Also did you turbo blow before you put the hybrid on? Could just be oil in the exhaust that needs burning if thats the case.

My steering rack has died and i need a replacement asap! Can anyone tell me if any pas fabia rack will fit my vrs? Thanks in advance!

I use it to my advantage. coming out of corners in 2nd, the 'bounce' off the limiter usually gives your tires grip again, without having to let off :p

Get a hard cut limiter you'll love it.

Am i right in saying you can run these on a fabia using the transverse exhaust manifold or buy a tublar manifold from people like darkside.. Just checking before i put my name down for one if funds allow!

Dirty torque developments is 550 on exchange iirc.

My car was mapped i put a hybrid on it without mapping it again and it was horrid boost was never the same... Then you get a stage two map and its all smiles and smoke!

Sounds more like the head gasket has gone. There is no way you will be getting headlift until you reach the 300bhp mark. Providing yours isnt 300bhp lol

Could be a few things... Buckled wheel, out of balance wheel, warped disk or the run out on the hub is buckled. Try getting the wheels checked then after that either get your discs skimmed or purchase new ones. I had the same thing, turned out i had a warped disk. New discs and pads fixed it.

The day you get a cooler on and drive it you will notice the difference.. Before the map! Then you'll think to yourself those lads on briskoda were bang on about this fmic lark 186bhp i ran before i got my fmic and stage 2 map. It even went into limp on the dyno with the smic lol.

+1 on this the smic isnt up to hybrid power. I was the same and constantly getting heatsoak and limp mode till i got a cooler. I never realised how crap the smic is till i got a scangauge. My intake temp used to go up in 10s on WOT...

Just buy a new pipe. The one that goes behind the light which is the one thats leaking by the looks of it, is 35 quid from tps.

Stage 2 hybrid fabia vrs's can keep up with a mk2 focus rs. wont go past one, but you can most defiantly match them on acceleration to way over a 100. Im running around a 'quoted' 230-240bhp.

Id rather pay the 300 for the octy seats and keep my vrs seats and sell them myself. They are worth more than 50 quid. But im very intrested.
