howde just got the cable 2 go from ipod 2the connection in car does anyone know how 2 get the ipod 2 work through the car looked at the manual but no joy maybe im just thick.....plus i hate reading on how 2 get things 2 work so any help is much appreciated thanks conor.

howde. picked up my new vrs tdi combi on monday . great car ,this is my third octy vrs ,but my first tdi and i think is the best yet not just because its new ,but it feels nicer 2 drive and the kick off it is better than the petrol vrs 200bhp and i thought id never say this but the combi is a better looking car plus it sounds good for a diesal.probably get shot for saying this.cheers.

cheers again very useful info how long did we wait for the 170 tdi vrs is there that many props with them cause it seems to me that the tdi more popular than the petrol or am i wrong and they hold there value better to. well so im led to believe.after looking at all that im still not sure ; want a tdi vrs for sure like the combi but still a slight doubt in the back of my mind , so i need to see one in the flesh so i will send cathalb a pm and get a butchers at his thanks again conor

great pics its a good looking car thanks for the feedback black vrs tdi with the tint for me .in ireland u pay for 18,s 470 euro not bad have 18,s on my vrs petrol so there a defo so all i have 2 do know is order the car thanks again conor

hi dont use them and yeh there up in beacon would'nt buy off them either my wife works in sandyford we decided 2 leave the car in beacon for handyness and got robbed and a lecture at same time cause car was late for service mileage wise jerks im changeing my car in jan they r never getting my buisness again

just got my vrs mk2 serviced there got a bleedin lecture on car being late 4 service mileage wise !!!!!! was robbed blind for 2nd service not impressed at all with there all round ability 2 function as a service 2 people who enjoy driveing skodas so stuff them wont b buying my 08 vrs 170 tdi there , there loss not mine. i think they need some customer service training and manners

buy as much as u can carry put ur head down and declare nothing and all the above ;enjoy;

starting 2 get same feelings u have most dealers dont give a damm;just take the money and run,if u have a proplem what u want us to do about it and if u complain its like banging ur head off a brick wall sound like a bit of a moaner but im really not; i just know what ur talking about good luck.

the car is 17months old i remember when i bought it the dealer told me 15k first service or 30k first service and the 30k would cost around 500euro my first service cos 250euro so i dont know ,sod it garages in ireland are strokers

booked my car in for second service, dealer is quoting 330 euro, car has 38k on the clock, thought it was a bit pricey, as its a short service as I got it serviced at 17k klm, has anyone else been charged that kind of money .......oil filter, air filter etc, cheers Conor

yeh had 3 in the car at the weekend.a 2 a3 a4 year old all as happy as larry in the back not much room left for ur hands 2 strap them in though .two of them in seats that use the seat belt 2 strap in the 3rd big awkward baby seat but it works ,cheers,p.s. stay away from s.u.vs

i thought it was penny who tested the vrs she used to be on driven . nearly sure she drove it around the carpark it was against the rover and some other car .

cheers for all the feedback i think i will have 2 get a diesal for a feiw hours and give it a lash local dealer says next one in is july i will check it out . my gut feeling is go for the diesal vrs . thanks again. conor.

Good review , was thiking of changing in 08 to the estate TDI VRs, havent seen prices for it yet over here. Thought the mpg would have been a bit better though. Never get time these days to log on much, seem to be a few people having some problems with their mk2 vrs's, me toooooo!!!!!!!!

red maybe green looks better on the old rs .red would give mark 2 more charachter...................wich it needs.
