Maybe the people who would trust him are the same people who voted for and are now being governed by politicians who promised that £350 million would be spent on the NHS instead of going to Europe and that immigration into this country would be reduced to a trickle??? No they'll believe the porkie telling politicians who have the support of the overwhelming majority of the press rather than the porkie telling politicians on the other side. Or maybe I didn't see or hear the lies told by politicians since I've been eligible to vote in 1980. I'm sure politicians on all sides are whiter than white and never tell porkies or stretch the truth at all. Cue the squadron of flying pigs again.

There are folks around here who talk about the Labour party being infiltrated by "Trots", it reminds me of the old cartoon "Wait Till Your Father Gets Home" I used to see as a kid when i got home from school in the mid/late 1970's. In that the next door neighbour called anyone who was to the left of Ghengis Khan a "commie pinko subversive faggot". The perspective just makes me laugh. ANY US politician would think of a Tory like Ken Clarke as a liberal (that's an insult in their eyes rather than a Nick Clegg follower). Around here some folks think Corbyn is a "Trot". Our surgery has got better in this respect over the years. 18 years ago i found I had Cardio Myopathy and spent 3 and a half weeks in ARI. On coming home a few weeks later on a Saturday morning I needed to phone the doctors and was greeted by a secretary who said it was a Saturday, Saturdays are only for emergencies and is it an emergency??? I said "I'm 35 years old and I'm p1$$1ng and $h***ing blood - it feels like a bit of an emergency but of course I will bow to your superior medical knowledge and experience". I got to see a doc that morning. Thankfully the staff are very well trained and totally professinal here now.

The thing I have trouble with is the Labour party using the courts to try to ensure that the membership (or recent new members) can't vote. That is wrong! If someone has paid their money they should get to vote. If the Parliamentary Labour Party suspect they're all Corbyn voters then they need to go out and campaign to get like minded folk to join. This is supposed to be a democracy. And if as someone pointed out here, Corbyn is unelectable, then so be it. But the folk who have ponied up their own hard earned cash have paid for a right to have a say in the leadership of THEIR party. I've no horse in this race, I grew up in a working class part of Wales and my parents always voted Labour but I live in Scotland and so have no personal interest in this except for fair play. If i'd paid to be a member of a party, union or anything else and was excluded from voting i'd be SERIOUSLY pi$$€d.

HiI've just traded my vrs in and I was the third owner. It was 1st on the road in January 2011. I'd had the car for about 2 years and the car had just reached 41,000 miles. In that time it used no oil to talk about and was utterly reliable. I'd had it serviced twice, 2 new tyres and just recently new discs and pads all round. It was purchased pretty much immediately on trade in by one of the mechanics at the garage who knew the history from their servicing of it and he'd seen it close up. A few owners isn't neccessarily a problem, sometimes folk get bored and change for reasons other than escaping a problem car.

Hi Richard It has the 1.2TSI engine. Seems smooth and quiet. I'm pleasantly surprised such a small engine pulls so well.

Hi I just picked up a roomster today. It's a Black Edition. It's a fine vehicle and after a decent run I'm really impressed. The car I had before was a Fabia 2 vrs although I had a 1.4tdi roomster in the past. Looking forward to doing some miles in this car. cheers

Hi On Friday I say goodbye to my brilliant Fabia 2vrs and trade it in against an ex-demo Roomster Black Edition. Very different cars but am hoping the Roomster proves to be as reliable as the Fabia.

Hi Really you have to prioritise what you want in a phone and work out which compromise works best for you as nothing will perfect. I use the Note 4 because I really value the replaceable battery and the micro SD expansion. It's battery lasts well but I don't want to ever activate power saving unless I'm desperate. If I'm paying for one of the latest smartphones I want it all all of the time so the ability to swap out a battery is important to me. The excellent screen and better build quality are a plus and I use the S-Pen. But you may prefer the even bigger screen, quicker software upgrades and vanilla android experience of the Nexus 6 but no replaceable battery or micro SD expansion here. The LG G4 is a lovely thing too - my wife has the G3 and really likes it and after trying it with her in the shop she's decided not to upgrade yet - I must admit I was impressed though. If brushed aluminium and super build quality floats your boat with the sense skin on top of android then HTC M9 is the way to go. The latest big Sony Z3 is a nice thing with glass front and back, an excellent battery and waterproof too. You really can't go far wrong with any of them, it's just finding the best fit for your phone use. good luck and enjoy the hunt

I had a similar problem many years ago. I decided to go nuclear and borrowed a tuba:-) 8 hours of bass parts one Saturday sorted it out. The drunken idiot next door singing songs at all hours of the day and night (particularly night) didn't enjoy the sound and vibration from the tuba which rattled through the house, neither did his parents. The son of the house stopped the drunken singing and I stopped the tuba playing - a fair result all round.

Also in the referendum the turn out was 84.6% whereas in the recent general election the turn outs in Scottish constituencies was between near 60% and 75.25%.

Of course it never distills itself down to worrying just one day a year. Every year you know that in the October/November time government tells the councils what their settlement will be, then the councils decide on their budgets and what will be cut come the following April. So you work under a cloud for at least half of the year. This was the cycle of events in the Thatcher and Major eras and has greatly eased since then.

Things can change quickly, they voted that way in 1975 but by the same token there were 41 labour MPs in Scotland a few days ago and that's changed dramatically. Also the EU hasn't been getting the most favourable press in the last 30 - 40 years, you would only need a "Euro sausage" type story or a massive expenses scandal to happen at referendum time and the great British public could vote any old way.

I'm a teacher so it will be 5 years of wondering whether I still have a job every year when the council budgets are set.

The leaders of those companies may have been worried about the independence vote but that will pale into insignificance compared to the referendum coming up as to whether the UK stays in the EU or not. All the companies that mainly deal with the EU currently will be trying to find new markets, Nissan, Toyota etc will be gone to somewhere in the EU and the companies who supply them will find themselves in severe difficulties.

At the moment probably not. And somewhat oddly it's not because of my experience with the cars, it's the comments and negativity I see in the Fabia 2 forum. In recent years, between my wife and myself we've owned (all new or nearly new) a 2.0l Beetle, a Golf TDI PD estate, a Polo, a Beetle 2.3 V5, an Audi A2, a Fabia vRS Mk1 and a Fabia vRS mk2. The only problem we've had with any of the cars has been a minor problem that caused the Golf estate to go into limp home mode but it was painlessly and immediately sorted by VW under warranty. But it is clear that many folk are having problems and that VAG will probably be very unhelpful. If VAG wont back their product and the folk who've spent their hard earned cash on the cars talk them down, then I will probably spend my money elsewhere.

A Black 55 plate from new for me. Sold it to raise some cash for a larger deposit on a house and wife didn't want to let her VW Beetle V5 go. I too wish I'd kept it.

Hi I'm not a lawyer (English or Scottish) but I reckon it would be very easy to get the tracker evidence introduced to court. As soon as the accused answers the question "what speed were you doing at the time of the accident" the tracker would be introduced as a way to verify the answer given, or to disprove the evidence just given.
