4. Hi there, As far as I know, the camera can only work integrated with the columbus unit via a special camera unit that controls it, yet you didn't mention anything about that, please clarify is it really possible to get these results by wiring the camera straight to the back of the unit without any module in between? 5. The airbags in the top of the pillar are curtain airbags, and the are not the same as the ones that come out of the seats Sent from my HTC One S using Tapatalk 2
6. Exactly the same noise here, a 170 cr superb saloon. After a couple of trips to the dealers and insisting to try other examples, it's definitely a characteristic of the car. Sent from my HTC One S using Tapatalk 2
7. I am the owner of an l and k twindoor. The reception on the move is not as good as when stationary, but most of the time it does do its job alright. Bear in mind though that here in London coverage is probably vastly better than in South Wales. (not that it's a better place to live...;-) Sent from my HTC One S using Tapatalk 2
8. Just wondering where you've gone Chane? You were posting at least once an hour and it became kind of a habit following this thread, and all of a sudden you've gone mute...... 8-) Sent from my HTC One S using Tapatalk 2

12. Done it on mine, just get hold of the three wires... and give it a subtle tug and out it comes, to reinsert just push until it clips in. I changed them on mine to Osram LED's. Cheers Sent from my HTC One S using Tapatalk 2
13. The holes that the factory make in the speaker's grill are too small, and the air is choked behind it, so on strong bass levels that causes the door trim to vibrate, the solution is to enlarge the holes one by one. There is a lengthy discussion on the matter somewhere else on this forum, see here;

Link

http://www.briskoda.net/forums/index.php
16. Hi guys, just a quick survey, I wonder how many of you actually make any use of this novelty? My Superb is 10 months and 11000 miles old and I never came round to use its brolly even once, (and yes, I do live in Britain...) Looking forward to your replies Sent from my HTC One S using Tapatalk 2
17. Could you by any chance share a photograph of those clips, and maybe description how to locate them? Sent from my HTC One S using Tapatalk 2
18. The engine 'power' is the torque multiplied by the maximum rpm. A lorry typically would have a slow engine with a very high torque, and a motorcycle would have a fast engine with a low torque, and they will both have similar power output. Similarly, diesels will usually have higher torque ratings than petrols, but the petrol will work at higher rpm's. It's all about the nature of the power delivery! 22. Jake, I can post a picture, but it looks just the same as original... Wouldn't be of much use I'm afraid Sent from my HTC One S using Tapatalk 2
23. I was struggling with the poor sound quality as well, particularly the choked bass and the door vibrations. Recently I was advised by a sound technician who examined the setup, that the main problem is the plastic grill in front of the speakers, he said that the holes are too tiny and don't allow enough air movement for the speaker to breath in and out, thus causing the bass to sound stifled and the door card to vibrate with the bass. Upon his advice, I removed the door card, and with a modellers drill I slightly enlarged each and every hole in the grill, when I had done one door, I compared the finished grill to unfinished one against a light background and could really see that it allowed at least double the amount of light through! The resulting improvement in the sound quality was VERY strongly noticeable, however I wouldn't pretend that it's now a Bang & Olufsen! NB, if you do decide to do this yourself, you can probably use a hand 'poking' screwdriver tool, but the main thing is, do it patiently, and enlarge the holes from the inside of the door side towards the cabin side, so to keep it neat on the visible side.
