  1. Goodbye to Bertha. Big hello to Morag!

  2. Over ?9000 worth of diesel later, Bertha hits 100,000 miles. Go furby go!

  3. Please add my 2005/05 plate Fabia vRS to the list. Clocked up 100,000 miles today outside the picturesque Raby Castle near Bishop Auckland in Co. Durham. Miles and miles of smiles
  4. Celebrating 100,000 miles of smiles today. The clock turned over right outside Raby Castle in County Durham, a nice place indeed!

  5. A bad day at the races is better than a bad day at work!

  6. Hi Jules. Long time no speaky! Yes, I'm okay and very well thank you. Sorry I've not been around, just been very busy of late, but had a refreshing break last week in Costa del Dornoch! Catch up with you again soon! :o)

  7. Changed it to serial killer now. Seemed somewhat more appropriate!!!

  8. Pheasants are stupid birds. No wonder they get splattered to death on the A9 in the Highlands!

  9. Hi Jules. Ope you're well? Not heard from me for a while! I'm keeping busy and up to no good!

  10. Hi Jules! Sorry not replied to ur last msg any earlier. Been very busy myself. Everything okay with me. Looking forward to a short break very soon - I need one! xxx

  11. Seriously, welcome to Briskoda and hope you enjoy your time here!
  12. I recall being tsught something about the "Rossendale Anticline" when I was in school! On a North West Water field study. I think it's when the clouds from the Irish Sea hit the first hills they see. Which are in Lancashire. Nuff said.

  13. So long as it means we move nearer to the sun because I'm fed up of damp cold mornings! lol!

  14. Fish - The original and best. Nothing added, nothing lost. Just Fish. What more could you want?

  15. Julie, glad your relatives are okay in NZ. It's quite a turbulent, fragile world at the moment.

  16. Hope you are well lass. Sorry, not been on here for over a week. Busy, busy, busy!

  17. Peter o'Sullevan - "the voice of racing". Makes a 3 horse novices' chase at Haydock sound like the charge of the light brigade! In fact, he'd call home every ruddy horse in the charge of the light brigade. Also like listening to Jim Maxwell on TMS when we are playing the Aussies.
  18. Last time we went to Italy, we drove through France, Belgium, Luxembourg, Germany. (Ferry crossing was to Dunkerque though and was largely done to avoid tolls). Stayed overnight in a hotel outside Ulm then drove through Austria and along the Bremmer Pass into Italy. That was going back quite a few years though, but if you have the time and want to factor in the driving as part of your trip/holiday, worth it just for the spectacular scenary alone! Other tunnels through the alps include the Frejus and Grand St. Bernard.
  19. Got to admit, it's pretty clever.
  20. Glad that you are both okay. Your reaction to the situation probably saved yours and your sons life. Hope your son is okay - lots of sticky toffees and treats will help him! All the best.
  21. Bet you were very impressed with the flying Wigan Winger Chris Ashton today!!

  22. Oh my, that's so very sad. I've tears in my eyes. It's that look that a pet gives you that does it. They know when they have had enough. A very dramatic short film sympathetically put together too.
  23. Sadly, I think we're all laughing at Bettsy's joke rather than Auric's!
