Superb L&K

4x4 has been working up to recently, so not a PDI issue. Today another new pump was installed. 4x4 now working successfully. The first replacement pump had a fault it seems. I do have missed the 4x4. Happy driver yet again

My thoughts also. I mentioned this for the workshop, but they said there were not any fault codes for the ABS. I still have not got any further information from the workshop. They will call me when they have got information from the factory on how to proceed.

The workshop got the same error code after replacement as before replacement. They also tested the 4x4 on the road. Front wheels spinning. The workshop does not know what to do as replacement of motor/pump had no effect on problem. Workshop awaiting answer from factory.

Hi, A week ago I noticed that the front wheels were spinning on a gravel incline. No aid from the back wheels at all. Car delivered to Skoda workshop and the fault was identified to be the electromotor for the Haldex pump. Pump was replaced today but problem is not solved. Message sent to Skoda factory today. Workshop awaiting reply from factory for further investigation or what to do. Has anyone else had a similar problem with Haldex 5?

Thanks for the link to the thread. Seems it is a common problem with Android. It is possible to upgrade the firmware through Web interface, but then we need to download the firmware file. Where can we find that file?

I would imagine that a firmware upgrade of the Smartgate unit would be beneficial for solving the problem. See information here http://skoda-auto.cm/en/experience/product-features/smartgate But I can't find any files to download for upgrading the firmware.

Hi, I am able to connect to Smartgate using wifi, but not using wifi direct. Have others had the same problem and found a solution? I am not able to upgrade the firmware of the Smartgate as I am not connected to the internet as long I am connected to Smartgate through wifi. It is possible to update the firmware manually, but where can I download the new firmware, anyone? Thanks.

Options beyond the L&K spec in Norway: Black magic pearl and brown leather interior Pano sunroof Ventilated seats Spare wheel Kessy with alarm Back seat package (it is only the tablet holder) Gear shift paddles (paddle shift) Handsfree Bluetooth Premium with SIM-k and Phone Box Tow bar Electrical control of passenger seat from back seat Variable boot floor SmartGate Sun curtain for rear windows Partition net Didn't order: Isofix for front seats Electrical heated front window I am coming from a Superb 2 which was fully specced at the time, but it was only a 140TDI. The Superb 3 is in another league. It is utterly Superb. How do I upload pictures by the way?

I currently have a Superb II in black with brown leather. Superb III ordered in same combination. I think the brown leather looks classy.

The problem is probably related to low battery in the key fob. I had to change batteries in both of them after 18 months from new. Car would not recognize key for locking and unlocking. Had to use the buttons on the remote to open/close.

According to the Norwegian importer the L&K production will start as of week 22 in 2014.

I have a Skoda Superb L&K with the Amundsen+ radio navigation system. I'm quite pleased with the unit as i has DAB+, bluetooth, MDI, etc. So to my question. It seems like the unit does not recieve Traffic updates (TMC). Why is this? To my knowledge the TMC system is up and running in Norway. I have asked my dealer but they didn't give me a clear answer, they wanted to have the car in to the workshop. Before I do that, I wanted to ask if there was anyone from Norway here with the same navi and a working TMC. Anyone?

I have had my Superb L&K for two weeks now. My car is black. The brown leather interior is very dark, to some extent is goes towards black in color. I just love it. Most of the pictures on the internet are way to light in color.

In Norway VW offers the combination of 170 + DSG + 4x4. It's VAG way to split up the market.

Well, I do disagree. Firstly, Most of the pictures which you may find of the brown leather interior are misleading. The colour in the pictures are to light brown and is thus not correct. Secondly, in my opinion there are way to few pictures on the official Skoda websites. So in fact I appreciate the pictures found on Briskoda.

I have not been able to get a proper night of sleep since the day the car was ordered, so yes I am looking forward to get my hands on it.

Today I have seen the new L&K at my dealer. I must admit that I've been very excited to finaly see it first hand. In my opinion the brown leather interior looks fantastic. Very few, if any, pictures have been given the interior the marks that it really deserves. Also the alloys looks really good. My car is due in a week or to. Ordered mid January. Production completed week 18.

I have a L&K on order. Production scheduled to be week 18. In Norway it comes with the Amundsen+ with Dab+ as standard. I do understand that the Columbus is "better" than the Amundsen due to: - a somewhat larger screen - an internal harddisk - DVD functionality In my opinion it is only the larger screen that is interesting. The Amundsen is faster due to it's flash memory so I have been told. Am I missing out on something here? Please advice.

I have been told by my dealer that the first model with a new badge is the Citigo and furthermore that the Superb will not get a new badge until facelift. I do not think that Skoda will have a facelift on the Superb before they have introduced the new Octavia.

You can order any of the Superb colours. I have ordered a Superb L&K in Black Magic Pearl myself. The interiør is only available in brown though.

I have a scheduled production in week 18 for a L&K. It would be really interesting to see some pictures which includes the back seat and more details of the seats in general.

It is the Amundsen+ sat nav system that comes with the L&K. Can anyone please tell me the difference between the Amundsen+ and the Columbus sat nav systems? Does the Amundsen+ system have the optical parking sensor display? I understand the differende is as follows: DVD, HDD and larger screen for the Columbus. Are there other differences?
