Car sold

I know, I've got a guy thats hopefully coming to look later. It seems everybody thats interested lives too far away. Sods law I suppose. One thing is for sure, I'll miss her but having use of my transit for £60 a month means she has to go.

I know, she's very cheap....... Its annoying looking at her when I get back from a week away though so she has to go! Maybe I'll buy another car one day, probably a newer VRS.

Price reduced, now £3500.

Yes, you're right. It took me a while to find one I was happy with. It came into the garage I worked at as a trade in, a father and sone both traded the same cars in and bought the same cars ( odd people ) This was the old mans and obviously I could check it out on the ramp etc..

I'll try to give all the required info but please feel free to ask me anything! 2 owners from new, me being the second owner. 54 plate 34k miles Cambelt last changed 09/08 - 16629 miles at Skoda All apart from last service done at Skoda, loads of reciepts Coils changed All tyres good, less than 700 miles on front Standard apart from panel air filter Straightest car I've ever owned, people always comment on how straight she is. I spent over a year looking for one with low miles and clean. Tax 03/14 Will come with 12 months mot Only selling due to company van so it doesn't get used. Slight niggles Several 'light' scratches around car, will probably all polish out if anybody is that bothered. Obviously car is available for any viewing. I'm after £3500 but I'm obviously open to any negotiation but I'm in not great rush to sell. Now with 12 month mot - no advisories Also 6 months tax on its way

I've just read most of your thread... Very interesting to get an actual users pov.. I worked for Nissan up until October last year and was a master tech so EV was part of my job.. They aren't very well liked by mechanics as there is nothing to do service wise, so in years to come people will be out of a job, ahha. I went on a test day at the factory once, with an un restricted Leaf, that was interesting when up against, well, infront of a 370Z round the track.

Brake balance is usually on the front and you're allowed 20%. If it was near 20% you'd already know about it as it wouldn't brake in a straight line. AS has been said, write exactly what is on the sheet.

Get the picture up ASAP but you mention the spring sits off to one side, Even if its been fitted wrong, which I can't see how, it should be straight. Its most likely snapped, which is a common, not major problem.

Just thought I'd make you all aware and hopefully save you some hassle along the way.. I did an online quote with Flux the other night and recieved an email 'provisional' quote the morning after. £237 for my octy vrs. This seemed a pretty good quote, although I knew it would go up slightly once I called............... I used their call back service yesterday, which pi55ed me off as I was busy and still had to wait on hold! Went through all my details again, nothing changed.......... Quote is now £600 ish Moral of the story, the email quote is just there to get you to call them....

Get a vrs...... I used to drive Nissan 350's, 370's, Skylines and GTR's every other day. My vrs put a similar smile on my face to all but the Skylines and GTR's. Awesome car for the money. Just trying to justify keeping mine at the minute :'(

I guess my 54 plate won't win an award with 33k, then?
