Morning people how are wrong this wet day!!! rear roll bar ! The bar is a 28mm item but the bushes are worn out does anybody no where I can some replacements as the originals only come in a kit comprising of 2x bushes + 2x droplinks but the kit is £120 from awesome

evening all just a quick question ! when the car my car when driven hard i get a small vague smell of fuel but when its driven normal theres no sign of any smell what so ever ! any help would be good thanks alot and hope to be of some use to everbody else sometime !!!

Just a update the snapped terminal was the fault I have opened the window motor with a hacksaw found the pin inside the unit soldered a wire on drilled a hole in the casing refitted back into the door and soldered the wire on to the door wiring loom as the terminal in the multi plug had corroded and pulled out ! And guess what ! SORTED !!! Saved my self loads of money in a new door loom and window motor ! Now all my problems are gone !!! I.E I NOW HAVE GOT THE REMOTE LOCKING WORKING OFF THE KEY AND THE REMOTE ! THE DRIVERS MIRROR IS ALSO WORKING ! ANSD LAST BUT NOT LEAST THE ALARM LED BY THE DOOR BUTTON IS NOW FLASHING WHEN SET !!! HOPE THIS BIT OF BODGING IS GOING TO BE OF SOME HELP THIS CAN BE A TEMPORY FIX OR PERMENANT FIX IF YOU A TIGHT ARSE !!! LOL BUT IT NOT SEEN AND NO ONEWILL EVER NO TILL THE DOOR CARD COMES OFF ! BUT IT DOES SAVE YOU A GOOD FEW HUNDRED QUID FROM THE STEELERS ! (DEALERS FOR THE PEOPLE THAT ARE OFFENDED!) OH SORRY FOR NO PHOTOS AS HAD SORE BACK AND WANTED IT BACK TOGETHER FAST !

And the drivers door mirror work. RESULT !!!

Had a look at the car this morning removed door card and had a look at the inside of all the multi plugs the one on the drivers doors window motor has a pin snapped off so will bodge it to see if it works !!!

hi there mate ive only had my vrs mk1 about a week or so and it looks like shark performane are the boys for doing it ! ive got a cc tuning map and its a terible drive so mine is going to shark after ive don the front wishbone bushes! as you say there is alot of price difference between all the tuners but ive always thought that you get what you pay for !!! ( SHARK ALL THE WAY FOR ME !!! )

What about angel tuning its not that they are cheap maps (£250) it's just that they will do 2 cars for £400 as a deal !!!

The car has a cc tuning remap and I have not scanned the ecu yet. I thought that it could be the recirc valve !!! ( a weak spring )

Since having the car the boost comes in very strong but all the way through the rev range it comes on and off under constant open throttle. I think that this could be the plastic recirc valve !!! Could it be this or anything else ??? It's not boost spiking thanks again and any help would be of use !!!

Hi there all looking to get the Vrs remapped soon but not sure who to use !!! Shark performance is close to me. But angel tuning offer a better deal as they are doing 2 cars for £400. Can anybody help regarding previous work done as my car has a map done by cc tuning and does not drive nice at all even looking at the power graph it looks very messy and I would rather have it standard compared to the cc tuning job!!! Thanks again all !

would it be easier to run the power cable down the passanger side as this is the side the battary is on ???

evening all my new 55 mk1 vrs octavia has got gremlins!!! the fault is on just the drivers door the issues are as follow 1,remote locking system not working on the drivers door but the key works and locks and unlocks the whole car from thr drivers door lock. 2,the alarm light next to the chrome knob on the top of door card does not flash. 3,the drivers door mirror does not adjust with the electric switch nor does the heated glass get warm on the drivers side but passenger side heats up. also the i have small things that i need advise with drivers seat thigh bolser foam (base) need replacing where can i located it from ??? passenger seat the stitching is parting between the material and leather parts under your thigh area. is it A, easy to sort out or B, is there anybody that can do the job??? any help with my problems would be good thanks alot dave
