hi mate check the pipe connector on the bulkhead as you stand looking at the car its to the right hand side,it is quite difficult to spot.

Theres a guy just down the road from where i live that is a specialist,a couple of guys i work with have had exhausts made,Tony banks is the name of the business,hope this helps hes not far from the owlcotes shopping centre if you know it. -
The really weird thing about it is that sometimes it works so what could it be if it was the resistor surely it wouldnt work at all,thanks to everyone who has helped so far.

any ideas as to why the heater blower in my mk 1 fabia only works on speeds 2,3,and 4 totaly dead on position 1 please help.
