  1. Excuse my ignorance.. When you say the sill as in the flat bit not the bar that is a few inches in with a notch in? I wasn't sure if that could support the jack?
  2. Might be a bit of a stupid question but when jacking up the car do u jack it up on the sill or is it the bar will the v cut into slightly behind can't work it out from here.. http://farm5.static.flickr.com/4053/4708428021_7a97d56692_b.jpg In case it matters in using the jack that came with the car.. Any tips or tricks?
  3. It goes it Monday to get sorted.. I'll show him this cheers
  4. I've had this in to a lock mechanic & he said a staggered bracket is quite normal on these is that the case or is it bent? Confused.. He reckons the handbrake isnt strong enough to bend it..
  5. If you could get the part number that would be spot on.. Cheers
  6. Cheers for the reply can one of these be picked up easily? Any idea on cost?
  7. A while ago I took my car in as it was lurching to one side (passenger rear) when applying the handbrake on a hill long story short they unseized the caliper & its been fine since. The issue seems to have come back now I took it into a different garage & they said its not the caliper its this (image below) which is bent and causing the problem.. I then saw this post: http://www.briskoda.net/forums/topic/204715-wonky-handbrake-adjuster/ Which kind of matches the symptoms I am getting so is this the cause or is it indeed a seized caliper or both? if i get a new caliper fitted and they adjust the handbrake will this straighten up the adjuster again? as in this image from a manual it sits straight.. http://skoda.workshop-manuals.com/fabia-mk2/images/fabia-mk2-383.png HELP!
  8. Just noticed this.. I havent got round to getting it 100% flush but tbh in the flesh it looks mint as is..
  9. How much do they actually lower the car? I had heard they don't really effect the ride. I might look at H&R springs instead.. What are you running now?
  10. Chaz are they 30mm because if they are I'm sold.. Makes a huge difference What is the consensus eibach or h&r? Do they effect ride quality/drive ability?
  11. Has anyone got any pictures of before and after getting Eibach spings 30mm ones preferably on standard wheels? Thinking about getting some but unsure of how they sit and whether i want to go lower.. Cheers
  12. Few fresh pics after a cleaning session.. Currently considering Eibachs, RARB & a Map.. but I keep talking myself out of it because I said i wouldn't mod this car.. we shall see..
