  8. Ah ok. I have noticed better braking and sharper but then the disc's were pretty shot along with the pads.

  11. finally I have something worth writing home about! It's been a long old few months after a less than cheap trip to New York everything got put on a hold. I am back and raring to mod! Few things to know are the car passed an MOT with a completely blown shock , I was unaware of this until my service and know I know why the car listed so much to left recently so new shocker ordered from DPM performance top blokes and very helpful over there! Few mods this year mostly little things and still things waiting to go onto the car. I swapped out my FARB for a R32 one which mean't less scraping on the drive shafts. Broken oil hose pipe which was annoying. Running -3.0 of camber on the rear now need a little maybe -4.0 bought a baffled sump as wanting to do hill climb next year and 12 this year if I ever get around to sorting out the license. Also on the shopping list was a Kenwood head unit with DAB/Satnav the works. Might just have to try the off road mode! usual dial cluster colour changes and stickers added to the car, I ordered UV purple and got pink they have since been changed to blue.. Bought a LCR splitter didn't last more than a week before I ripped it off the car in a field in prescott hill climb. Installed a full brake update EBC dimples and grooves and green stuff pads all round. Most importantly I am signed up for the ModBall rally next year and have just organized a new paint job for the car via dipyourcar.co.uk, so should look very tasty even better next year with modball stickers and sponsors on it!
  12. Hmm I usually scrape on the black and yellow speed bumps! Also forgot to mention i have a plus one. Forgot to say, hopefully not to much of an issue?
  13. 1. niceyellow vrs + Bird 2. CFB + the old girl 3. codroe23 4. AdamJMK 5. Me myself and I (possible ATM) 6. Volf 7.jonny I'm up for this!
  14. Might be worth checking the pipe under the inlet manifold. Mine had same issue as yours and it was a slight crack in the pipe.
  15. My octy and the mother's estate is shocking in cross winds. Hella scary. Passats are much better in cross winds. Put it down to a Skoda safety feature.
  16. Which doesn't bother me send me as many as they like if they send them all to me then least some other people won't get them and be fooled by them. I mean it all stems from people not having a secure website as its mostly done on small personal owned sites and people are un aware there site has been hijacked.
  17. I personally like the bank ones. I tend to fill them in using expletives and such a like as the system they use isn't clever enough to detect that it isn't my bank number. Oh what a joy they must feel when they get an email saying you've got someone's bank details!
  18. It was indeed a bit pricey but you do get a free fire brigade visit with every meal!. Yeah I will also start looking for a good area to meet up. As Skoda meets aren't the car park kinda of gatherings most places can be ruled out, unless its a restaurant car park! Was nice to meet everyone that's for sure!
  19. She might please but I'm not second valet since I've had the car and its going to snow.:(
