Dear EJ , I am absolutely new to this or any other forum , I typed 'Bluetooth problem' into the search function and got nothing relevant , tried again with the addition of 'Yeti' and got some clues but nothing direct . As a result of the post I now have a solution and a means of working out what to use as search criteria so the exersize has been worth the effort even if I p******d off one or two experts for which I apologise .

When my Yeti Elegance bluetooth system locates my phone the sound system produces the most aggrivating and unacceptably loud BEEP. I have asked the local agent and all they would do was give me the number of Skoda customer service who could do nothing but refer me back to the agent . Does anyone know how to cancel it or decrease its volume as there is no apparant access via settings either in the phone , media, or radio menus . A slight reduction occurs if the reversing sensors beep is muted but muting the radio has no effect on the phone beep. I even told both the agent and the service dept that it would prevent me buying another Yeti which had no effect !!!!!!! The actual operation of the bluetooth system is otherwise extremely usefull .

Steel 16 inch wheels from local dealer £39 (not found cheaper on internet that would guarantee fit !!) Yokohama Geolander (summer grade, but deepest off road tread found in 215/60 profile ) from MYTYRES @ £96 each shipped to nearest partnered fitter plus £15 each fitted and balanced . These have got me around through the shooting season , through muddy lanes and quagmire gateways and am happy to recommend , seem to be wearing well and have smoothed out the ride over potholes noticably ! Minor increase in road noise not noticed if radio on or window open . Cheap trims from Ebay and they don't look too bad . Regards Phil
