  1. It's true the wheels are not available to order as a seperste option.... BUT you can order them as part of the black design package plus option. The option is roughly around £750. It comes with the 19" wheels, black grille, mirror caps and roof rails if it's an estate.
  2. Took a picture today now the car is very very clean (well until I drive it later on anyway, I do hate the winter months) http://s303.photobucket.com/user/jimbo1a/media/4FC3AC25-357B-4156-9022-90FF217EC895_zpsadqlkaw0.jpg.html'>
  3. :| Do they really.... See I thought that but mine doesn't seem to have them, I thought maybe they was an option. How do I get these to work?
  4. I got mine on Friday and when I pulled into Lakeside car park I had a regen happen. I knew what is was from the smell but was surprised it happened so quickly.
  5. Thanks guys.... I was outside as soon as the transporter turned up. The sun was shining on it and I had the biggest grin on my face. Also I took great pleasure in stripping it off it's white protective stickers.... which got a chore after the roof, that stuff is harder than I thought it would be. Then made my own number plates and cleaned it. Falkster i'm having frog for dinner tonight ha ha
  6. 129) James E - 2.0 Tdi DSG, vRS, Rallye Green Metallic, Black Design Package, Sunset Glass, Mitsumi Apple Conectivity, Gemini Anthracite but soon to go 18" with Bridgestone Potenza S001.
  7. Here we are everyone it has finally arrived. I took it home last night and really loving it. I hope you all like. Oh and a present I was bought to keep me company when i'm on my own in the car
  8. Looks like we are all sharing the same ship then as mine is also on the African Highway Exciting times guys knowing our cars are now sitting in this country. I noticed when tracking it last night it was heading for Margate at one point and then made a swift turn towards Sherness.
  9. Jose your car looks amazing. I love how the 19s look with the green. It's making the wait for my hatch that little bit more difficult now.... I have "no patience" I think is the phrase to use.
  10. You can order the 19" Extremes. They now come as part of the Black Design Package Plus in the UK
  11. I had to do some training a while ago. All parts that are at the factory are there specifically for the vehicles that are being built. They only allocate parts needed for builds and no extras. I think they order parts months ahead ready for the build dates for allocated build cars.
  12. I have to admit before going for the vRS I spent so much time on Skodas website and in the showroom looking at the Octavia and Superb.. Then I thought to myself that as nice as the Superb is I would kick myself everytime I saw a vRS. So I signed on the dotted line The way I saw it is that this is the biggest purchase of my life so I am going to get something I know I will be 100% happy with. Spend a while and have a few test drives before you decide. I'm sure you will know it when you see the perfect model for you.
  13. Not so far away. I think after the car has been built and left the factory it could be around 3 weeks to hit the dealer. What spec have you gone for?
  14. Mitsumi is the Apple connectivity and the Lead. The picture Nelly posted shows what you get if you opt for Apple connectivity. It deletes the USB/Jack plug. Here is the lead used when selecting the option But with Columbus you don't need to opt for mitsumi as the unit is set up to be able to use the iphone/ipod through the usb port. That's why it deletes it as an option when selecting it in configurator. I hope this helps.
  15. I had a check this morning. The Unit does not come with the lead needed but if you plug your iphone/pod into the USB socket it will work with the unit.
  16. Had a look for you this morning. The retail on the cable is £55 from Skoda and VW.
  17. That was another thing with the Civic.... As soon as I got it the bulbs were changed. I may as well have had candles in the headlamps. Best car I have had so far was my Accord Type R with xenons... now that lit the road up so well. Can't wait to get the Vrs though from the ones I have seen come in at work the bi-xenons are amazing.
  18. Yep they are available to buy from dealers now. Cannot be to sure but I think the cost is around £50. Just off the top of my head though.
  19. The good old days of BTCC. It was so much better than what we get today.
  20. People mention that about my current Civic Type R when they are in the back.. They say because of how how big and bulky the seats are they can hardly see out, It makes them feel very sick, I keep thinking of jumping in the back to see how they feel.
  21. Mitsumi is only needed on Bolero units. If you have the Columbus unit it will already have the built in function needed. If you would like I can check tomorrow for you when i'm in work.
  22. I've got on order right now a Rallye Green Metallic vRS Hatch with Black Design Package, Sunset glass and Apple connectivity. Engine and gearbox I have gone for is - 2.0 Tdi Cr DSG I will be adding the 19" wheels which I have got sitting here waiting to go on when it arrives with me.
  23. Saw this the other night when searching for Vrs reviews on youtube. I'm so fascinated by this and find it very interesting... So much so that I have watched it more than once.
