2014 (14) Fabia VRS Price Check Please
phil555 replied to phil555's topic in Skoda Fabia Mk II (2007-2014)
Thanks all. I paid less than the £20K book price BTW. Crazy how fast cars depreciate really. Might as well keep it for the time being and if/when I sell I will strip the mods off and sell separate. Thanks all for the advice etc. Phil. -

£11K!!!!!! That's a poor depreciation. The car was £20K new less than a year ago. -

Engine Oil Loss on a 2014 Fabia VRS
phil555 replied to phil555's topic in Skoda Fabia Mk II (2007-2014)
Yes goneoffSKI it is a 2014. Think they just checked it over. I work in the Automotive industry and you'd be surprised what parts get fitted to motors etc. -
Engine Oil Loss on a 2014 Fabia VRS
phil555 replied to phil555's topic in Skoda Fabia Mk II (2007-2014)
Cheers gents. 5000 miles from new. Had the car to the dealer and they checked her over to ensure the engine had all the lasted pipework etc on. Topped up by 350ml so not as bad as the dipstick indicated. I will be monitoring on a weekly basis from ow on. -
Engine Oil Loss on a 2014 Fabia VRS
phil555 replied to phil555's topic in Skoda Fabia Mk II (2007-2014)
Only checked every other week but just noticed the loss over that last few weeks. Never topped up as I didn't expect that much of a loss. Dealer can sort it out as that's what I expect from them. As for the owners hand book, still in the plastic cover.....LOL. -
Looking like I have an issue with oil loss on my 3 month old 2014 Fabia VRS. Checked my oil yesterday and half has vanished. Looks like a trip to the dealer for an explanation.

Fabia VRS (2014) Gigaro Wheel Paint Code
phil555 replied to phil555's topic in Skoda Fabia Mk II (2007-2014)
My pal managed to sort my wheel out and mixed a colour match. Pic of the mix code if any one has a use for it. Phil. -
All sorted. Thanks lads Phil.
-
I'll give it a try when I get my alloy back. Phil.
-
Thanks lads. Info is much appreciated.
-
Thank you. I will have a read to see where the TPMS button is located.
-
Thanks very much. Will I need to reset when I put the alloy back on? If yes, how do I reset please?

Hi all, anyone please tell me what this warning light is? Happened this morning. Bit of background. Took the passenger side rear wheel off last night to get refurbed and have the spare on today. Thanks in advance. Phil.

Fabia VRS (2014) Gigaro Wheel Paint Code
phil555 replied to phil555's topic in Skoda Fabia Mk II (2007-2014)
So............. is there actually no code for the wheels? Looks like I will have to get a best match that suits. -
How do all. Somehow managed to take the paint off (stone chip I think) one of my wheels (5p size). I have read through some of the previous threads about the paint code but still unsure what it actually is. Called into my local Skoda dealer who (at no surprise) had no idea what the code was. Me "do you know the paint code for the VRS Gigaro wheels?" Dealer "no idea, we only know the colour of the main car body" Me "will it be the same as the roof?" Dealer "could be but not sure" Give me strength........................... AAARRRGGHHHH!!!! I have a paint code of F9R for the Skoda Black Magic. Question is will F9R be the correct match for the wheels? Thanks in advance, Phil.
-
Yeah have them all around on mine. Keep the stones down and look good. Phil.
-
£80 is OK. Not sure noise wise. Don't see why not as it is very restrictive IMO. Phil.
-
It's all about choice and quality IMO. I have used Miltek on all my previous cars and found them tone spot on. Expensive yes but amazing quality. Phil.
-
As above. Plus any decent garage should be able to do this mod. Cost me £70 all in. Phil.
-
Yes cat back although it starts after the first silencer. The removal of the centre section was extra. I got the Miltek from Revolution for £530 and the centre section removal was done at a local garage (Arden Performance) for £70. Phil.

I have a Miltek on mine and the centre section delete. Transforms the car IMO. Phil.
