Im looking to freshen up my calipers with a new coat of the original VRS green paint, but, dont know where to get it or what to use, I spoke to the dealership and they weren't aware of any available? So just wondering, what do I need to get and where do I get it? Thanks:thumbup:

But, if you want the CZ banding like mine above you'll need to put that in the special instructions or phone them, because, if your ordering online they only list GB or D Banding, CZ isnt usually an option:thumbup:

Yea Thats what I think, Atleast if I dont like them I can peel it off back to GB! Il give it a go and hopefully get on the car pics up before the weekend.

Thanks, Its German FE font, Im really impressed with them,and as I said, if you look at the pics I definitely think you need the tax decals in the middle of them to fill the gap between the numbers and the letters. Just undecided as to whether to go for the CZ banding or stick with the GB Banding???

The Red Brake Calipers are a different touch aswell, Pesonally I like the Blue colour but, would have kept the calipers green, To go with the usual vRS colours.

Don't know why, I used a photobucket and they are coming up fine on mine, can anyone else see them ok? If not can anyone host them for me if I email them to them?

My Cousin had one from new, It was quite quirky and nippy, but very small inside and as already said, doesn't inspire much confidence on the road, I would compare it to a smart car, great for nipping about in, but, rubbish for long journeys etc, and I definitely cant see much drifting going on, the turbo is small and spools up quickly but wouldnt have great poor to throw the tail out, also very hard to get parts for should it get damaged, If your looking cheap affordable fun for diffing and fun driving, Id say an early mx-5 would cater or most needs and very cheap to run with good poke available etc, (The Hairdryers opional... )

Well, mine Arrived today and I simply couldn't compliment Dubmeister enough on the excellent service I recieved, Nevermind the superb quality of the plates! Needless to say I am very impressed As you can see in the Pics, I also opted for one of the excellent Czech numberplate surrounds for the rear plate (that Quinten is currently selling), and I think it sits in very well with the Euro Plates. When ordering I enquired about getting Czech Banding (CZ) on the side of each place instead of GB or D as in the listed options, but, I stated that if it was not possible I would be happy with GB. Dubmeister supplied me with GB banding but also included in the box CZ banding Decals that I can put on myself if I liked it, but have yet to change them. Here's a few pics of them, The cars away getting the VRS wheels painted Anthracite, but, once its back il post a few pics of them fitted - I also bought the German WOB Plakette and Stadt kit for the proper Euro Look and am glad I did so as I thought that without it the gap between the Letters & Numbers on the plate was a bit too much. And All stickered up with the Rear Czech Plate Holder- Hope you like them and hopefully it helps get the group buy up to the correct numbers now that everyone can see what they will be getting

I wonder if you can get the Czech banding at the side of the plate instead of German or GB?

Im going to contact my dealer this week to book the car in for the stutter fix, its getting more and more annoying, can someone please tell me what I need to ask them to repair/ adjust under warranty? No doubt they'll say they've never heard of such a problem. Thanks

I've had my Fabia Vrs for a year now, I bought brand new in January 06 , I remember reading about the stutter problem, but, never really thought mine suffered from it, I got it remapped in April, and had noticed a bit of a stutter but it didn't seem viable enough to contact the dealers, but over the last few months i've noticed what I thought might be the common stutter problem, as- if I ease of the throttle at average speeds above 30 and accelerate a bit more the car seems to 'judder' like a slight hesitation before accelerating as it should, its not because the revs are to low that the engine cant handle it, but, that its like a fuel starvation or alike, but only for a moment, its just started to make think I should get it resolved, does this sound like the symptoms of the common stutter? And if I contact my dealer what do I say I want corrected? and is it a listed fault, it was in for a recent service and the paperwork stated that no recalls where due for my model? Just want to know what to ask the dealer for before contacting them.

Jordan- 1.6 vti-160bhp B16a2 Engine Same as Uk VTI, Import EK9 type R is same B16a2 Engine but higher bhp due to lesser restrictions from UK Catalytic Convertor etc.

No problem, il definitely take a set, just toying with the idea of buying one of the czech number plate surrounds aswell, When is the final closing date? Might know someone else interested, but they dont collect their new vrs for two weeks so cant get the new registration until then.
