  1. Like you I cover about 45,000 kms per year and although I have always driven manual cars over the last 25 years I finally made the switch to a DSG, (in Style) last January. I can only say it will be hard to go back. I have not found it lacking in any way and in my opinion makes a great car even better. I would chose this over the extra bits an L&K gives all day long.
  2. Same with mine when I collected it in mid January, completely gone now, hopefully yours should behave the same way.
  3. Same error occurred at least 4 times over a 2 day period, I'd just booked it in for a check but reset it one last time and guess what ? no errors since, that was about 4 weeks ago.
  4. Tarrants ,Banteer. On my second Superb from this dealer, and have nothing but praise for their sales and service staff. Very easy to deal with and very friendly. Top marks for Conor the sales manager especially.
  5. Had a leaking pump changed under warranty at 42k miles last week, a known fault so?

  9. Hi Phil, I've got a 2011 Superb Greenline in elegance spec. My previous car was a 2007 Subaru Legacy 2.0 petrol AWD. The Legacy was an excellent car and I had seriously considered their new model which now has the diesel option available. However in terms of space, mpg, spec and comfort the Legacy wasn't even at the races. I have not found the 1.6 diesel underpowered, you can shift along with efficient use of the gearbox if you need to, but you'll be happier cruising. If I was being picky I would say the tyre noise on the Superb Greenline is a little louder than I was expecting but I'll be changing the Conti Ecos soon, and the nose is a little low so watch for speed bumps. All in all though an excellent car and it will take a lot for me not to buy another. By the way the parking sensors means its easier to park that my Legacy was.
  10. Ah yes, austerity in Ireland. As we now depend on Europe to pay our bills I have changed from a Legacy petrol to a Greenline Superb in elegance spec. What a car! I am happier that a pig in s***, my friends, see you on the roads.
