  1. Hi Guys, Just had the warning pop up on the dash yesterday "check left dipped headlight beam". Checked the dipped beam and it flickers as it comes on so it's probably on it's way out. Is it true that xenons need to be replaced in pairs or can you get away with just changing a single bulb? Will be looking at replacing with the Osrams as suggested above.
  2. Bloody hell mate that's commitment! Sent using Tapatalk
  3. Hiya jim, £130. Sent using Tapatalk
  4. Just to say a big thumbs up to Ali at Unit18 who had my car in at 9am this morning. A few hours later and Cupra console bushes, wheel alignment and new discs and pads on the back all done. What was a poorly furby is now smooth and sweet again. If anybody needs work doing give this guy a shout, highly recommended. Sent using Tapatalk
  5. Sounds like Unit18 is the way to go then, bit of a drive to get there (about an hour) but makes sense if they can do the wheel alignment at the same time. Cheers guys. Sent using Tapatalk
  6. Anybody used this garage before? Fabia needs it's console bushes changing and I haven't got the time or kit to DIY. Cheers, Simon
  7. Could also be the plastic cover on the puddle light rattling, mine does this occasionly.
  8. Consider it ordered, i'll let you know how I get on. Cheers Dominorising, and thanks Briskoda as always!
  9. Cheers Whoosh, anybody else got positive experiences with the Laser single tool? Sent using Tapatalk
  10. Has anybody bought from or used the below rewind tool to do the rear discs/pads on the VRS? If so are Inka-Corp reputable and is the tool any good? http://www.ebay.co.u...=item5d3a8c56b8 I've looked at the Laser tools. The 3835 kit seems to fit the bill but the price is quite steep (£75 from Hal-frauds). http://www.halfords....tegoryId_255216 Whereas the cheepest Laser option is a bit pathetic looking: http://www.halfords....tegoryId_255216 Appreciate comments / experiences. Cheers, Simon
  11. +1 for this method on the rear doors, no need to take the door card off completely, just swing it up and rest it on the rear seats.
  12. I've noticed mine doing similar over the past week or two. I'll be interested to know what the cause is....
  13. I closed the boot monday morning after putting my work gear in there and found the pull strap to be **** wet through. Question: is the pull strap long enough to get trapped by the seal and soak up water? As it was monday morning I just thought f***ing hell, jumped in the car and drove to work. I'll check properly at the weekend.
  14. Guide can be found here: http://www.briskoda.net/forums/topic/211083-diy-fabia-i-brake-light-switch-replacement/ I got my replacement switch from GSF car parts, cost around £7.50, twenty minutes to fit.
