Took it home and advertised it on Auto Express for the same price I bought it for 4 years ago. It was sold in less than 24 hrs and the couple liked it so much they didn’t even want to haggle. I got the full 10k compared to the 7700 that Arnold Clark offered.

Arnold Clark is where I am buying my Karoq ,they offered 8200, but reduced it by 500 to 7700 as I have not changed the timing belt. I think I can get better so told them I would not use it as a trade in.

I’ll need to send photos but will wait till it stops raining. I’ll post final offer when done.

Hi I am buying a Karoq and will be selling my Yeti. How much should I ask. For the Yeti It has 40000 on clock. Full service history. New mot new Michelin tyres x4. It is a 15 plate white no dents bumps or scrapes.Arnold Clark only offered £7500 and I know the car is worth more. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you 😊

Hi I just ordered a new back box for my Furby. 1.9 tdi. It's a BSW engine code and I was wanting to replace the exhaust clamp as well. Does anyone know the right diameter clamp I need to order? Any help will be much appreciated.

I bought the Carista but it wont do any adaptions on my 57 plate Fabia but it did clear an engine fault that I caused whilst messing with the fuse box. Im hoping that Carista might sort it with an app update. I bought the iOS wifi version.

It's at Hermiston Gate.

Well I've found out the problem. It works out the top strut bearing was knackered and was putting extra pressure on the coil spring. Should have it back for 12:00 £175 lighter.

The car was bought new from a Skoda dealer by my brother I got it from him and it's had all the work done by the dealer from new. I avoid as many pot holes as possible but in Edinburgh there is a lot. I'm working tomorrow so will need to take it in on Tues. I'll get them to look more into it. By the dampers all look fine

Is there a fault with the springs on the Fabia? I have a 57 plate 1.9 tdi and when I got it 18 months ago the NSF spring snapped. So went to a Skoda dealer and replaced both springs. Now I go out to the car and got about a mile from the house and the NSF spring snaps again. Is this going to be recurring problem meaning I only get 18 months out of them?

Shelf life on sealed motor oil is indefinite, even if the container was not sealed it still fine, condensation would be an issue with numerous heating and cooling cycles such as in an engine not stored in a garage. The oil container will deform a bit to compensate for cooling and heating contraction and expansion, its not sucking in any air so no moisture can get in, mineral oil is stable to 425 degrees F, synthetic to over 500 F. The only issue is the SAE rating, they keep improving the additive packages all the time.
