  1. So just a thought I had earlier, I wonder if my previous Skoda's are now owned by anyone on here!? It'd be nice to know what's happened to them... Fabia VRS - black - AE04FHS Fabia VRS - black - GR55OFW Octavia VRS - silver - RK53CAA Octavia VRS - black - LF54UAT Octavia Sport TDI - red - FP55YVX Octavia L&K TDI Estate - blue - OV03MPZ cheers Chris
  2. Have you done a test section on a panel of the car to confirm how soft/hard the paint is to achieve the desired correction? I say this as every car is different & having owned 2 fairly recent Toyota's personally - Black MR2 (soft clearcoat) & a Red Celica (ridiculously hard) don't believe all you read on the web regarding soft/medium/hard/mega hard clearcoats being applicable to every car by 'x' manufacturer. As others have said Megs APC would see you well with the complete interior cleaning, both plastics & leather. APC may also be fine for the wheels, although this depends entirely on how dirty they actually are..brake dust, tar etc. Enjoy!, they're only small & the panels are nicely shaped for machine work.
  3. Matt @ I4detailing is in Surrey I beleive. He may well be able to help you out, his number is 01342 870927
  4. Not sure how I missed this thread Damo :S Front end looks good mate, especially with the retro badge. As Cortez said above you'll be fine to polish the fresh paint straight away if it needs it or whack some protection on it no probs at all.
  5. I completely agree Craig, if you pressure rinse thoroughly before going over the car with the washmitt there is absolutely no need for snow foam imo ..especially if the car is well prepped & has had some decent protection applied.
  6. Best of luck with the sale, it seems these are sticking around at the moment, as is mine :S
  7. Skoda touch up sticks are definately much better than ordering paint elsewhere either a bodyshop or online etc, colour match is spot-on which you'd think is a given but in some cases it's not. Little tip re application - cut off about an inch of masking tape from a roll, roll up tightly then cut one end into a V with scissors/craft knife then pick up some paint from the stick...steady hand and your away.
  8. You shouldn't experience any fade with the yellow on the body panels as it's not a single stage colour, i.e it has a lacquer coat. As has already been said you may experience it on plastic/GRP bits like the spoiler or fuel flap as these don't go through the same paint process in the factory.
  9. Apart from our very own Baker21 the only company local-ish to you I'd recommend is Dave Naxton of DPN. DPN
  10. So here we have my PS3 Slim 320gb console for sale. Originally bought for GT5 about 4months ago. As new condition, as per the picture everything is present & correct in the box. Also included is a Bush HDMI cable. Please note this listing is for the console only, no games are included. Delivery via TNT. Payment via Paypal gift. £190 delivered
  11. Once you've cleaned the leather as a longer lasting alternative to a conditioner mentioned above, I'd recommend the Carpet Protector out of an Autoglym Lifeshine pack. Dispite the title it's also recommended for protecting leather. Apply with a cotton stockinette or short pile microfibre and leave to dry, ideally overnight. Future cleaning just requires a wipe down with a damp cloth Obviously an added bonus is you can use it on your carpet mats & boot carpet etc so the bottle won't go to waste AG Carpet protector ebay link
  12. In a word Yes! It's great watching the PDR guys work their magic. Just Google 'dent removal staffordshire' - there is a fair few in your area
