I was looking at L&K trim and that only comes with 280ps petrol engine atm. That's a bit of overkill for me
-
I hope so as well, they have improved it a lot in 2018 facelift. It's at least as comfortable as the Superb for me. Has also all the toys in the top trim and Mazda have really good offer going on at the moment. I'm still hoping to come back to Skoda in couple of years time, when Superb is finally offered as a hybrid

I have decided that it's the time for an upgrade and whilst I was hoping to stay with skoda, as the car was faultless for the last seven years, the lack of petrol engines on Superb III has forced me to look elsewhere. Thanks for all the help and support I have found here. I have ordered new Mazda 6 GT petrol and hoping it's going to be as reliable as Superb was. If anyone is interested in buying my Superb, it's listed in classified section.

Thanks for the info

That's what I'm looking at. 190 is available in octavia, but when it might be available in superb?
-
Hi, does anyone know when the 220 TSI will be available again in superb? Or is it going to be a different engine with similar output? I know it is probably to do with WLTP, but interested to know the timescale.

Hello everyone, as per title, does anyone know part number for driver's seat heating element? The bottom bit. The car was made in 2012 and its full leather with ventilated seats, if that makes any difference.

Are my vented seats not working?
jozisko replied to geetee1972's topic in Skoda Superb Mk II (2008-2015)
The fan is located towards the middle-front of the seat. You can definitely hear it when the engine and stereo is off. You can even see it and determine is it moving, if you look at the bottom of the seat -
Hey everyone, completely forgot to mention my new addition to the Autobot family. What do you think?
-
I've seen, that it is on Octavia, that's what prompted the question. I will probably ask Skoda then.

Hello, does anyone know when Skoda connect will be available in Superb Mk3? http://www.skoda-auto.com/en/experience/connect/skoda-connect/

could be a blown fuse.

To me they were too bright , didn't look like they belonged there. They look much more in place now. I haven't converted my reverse light yet, so can't advise on that

Yes, remove the whole bulb housing. Connector LEDs come with is exact fit for the plug on the car. have a look at these photos to get an idea

I've hit between 115 and 120degC on German autobahn. It made me to slow down, as I wasn't sure how long I can go on with such a high temperatures.

Try these: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/24-SMD-LED-Licence-Number-Plate-Light-For-SEAT-Altea-Exeo-3R-Leon-1P-5F-Ibiza-6J-/262447906532?hash=item3d1b1d3ee4 They are a bit bright, but I have applied aluminium tape to cover outside rows of LEDs only exposing middle row and they look great IMO. Also no errors on my superb made in 2012, as they have internal resistors.

Target price for timing belt & service intervals

Did the car go without a service between 56k and 92k? If yes, that's not very good. -
Please help. Cooling fans Problem
jozisko replied to mmani's topic in Skoda Superb Mk II (2008-2015)
It looks like the car/ECU is not reading outside air temperature sensor. Has the wiring between the OAT sensor and wherever it goes to been checked? Has the plug where OAT sensor plugs in been checked? -

LED Bulb Upgrades for Superb II
jozisko replied to nczernus's topic in Skoda Superb Mk II (2008-2015)
LEDs are not as effective for fogs as standard halogen bulbs. The halogens from your link should be considerably whiter than the original ones. Also have a look on ebay, some definitelly cheaper options i.e. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/2x-H8-708-35w-Super-White-Xenon-Headlight-Bulbs-12v-XE3-/361138284605?hash=item541584e83d -
LED Bulb Upgrades for Superb II
jozisko replied to nczernus's topic in Skoda Superb Mk II (2008-2015)
I'm running these in DRL's at the moment http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/2pc-CREE-1156-BA15S-P21W-Xenon-LED-CANBUS-REVERSE-LIGHT-BULB-WHITE-HIGH-POWER-/321517034780?hash=item4adbe89d1c Very bright and no resistors required. Mine is also year 2012. The fog bulbs you posted seem like standard halogen bulbs with whiter effect, so no resistors required. Have a look on ebay, as you may find them cheaper there. -
Same here. Had it back with the dealers to check, but they said it's alright. Eventually they have performed DSG software reset, but it hasn't changed anything really.

Carista OBD2 - A cheaper alternative to (some of) VCDS
jozisko replied to JackHill's topic in Skoda Superb Mk II (2008-2015)
this doesn't work on my 2012 elegance either. Contacted Carista customer support, but no reply yet.
