  1. Thanks everyone, for your interesting answers. I had seen the stubby extension already, but I really am interested in the Superbe antenna, which has no upward extension. I have the one as illustrated by rockhopper, since I have the sat-nav on the Elegance model. The Superbe antenna is a molded model, with no upward extension, and is compatible with sat-nav, since as you know it is the upscale model.
  2. Hello all, I've got a bit of a clearance problem in my underground parking garage and wish to swap out my antenna for the Skoda Superbe shark fin or tooth like one, which is shorter. Anyone have any info as to the feasibility of this ? Thanks in advance.
  3. For those who are Elegance owners, or ordered the option...enjoy !!! For the rest...get over it !!! :'(
  4. Elegance...no hesitation, no regrets !
  5. Hope it is going better after verifying the seating position. If you are doing a lot of mileage, it may help to modify the seat position occasionally, seat height - distance from steering wheel - lumbar, in order to let your body relax and re-adjust. I have an Elegance, too, and haven't experienced any problems yet. Good luck.
  6. DSG 6 or 7 ? I have the 6 in my 2.0l 140 delivered in France. Only 1000km but no problems experienced. I will say that my last car, a BMW525tdsa, came back with a bad case of "when do I shift gears?" after a six-month loan to a female friend. So much for gearboxes that "learn" how you drive, and adapt...lol
  7. When I finally did receive mine, it had P Zeros....nice ride, quiet, handles well in wet
  8. Update...not having received the car by mid-July, I cancelled my order, very reluctantly of course, and headed off on holiday in a Sixt Polo. Nice car, considering its limitations.Upon return, I returned to see the Skoda dealer end September, hoping for some news. In the meantime, "my" Yeti did finally arrive mid-August, and promptly found a taker. Seems though, that the Sales Manager so liked my configuration, that he ordered an identical one for the dealership. My salesman informed me that in fact the car was scheduled to be delivered shortly. Seems the original delay had been caused by a shortage of DSG boxes, but who knows... So not to drag this on, I was finally delivered mid-October. In all, almost a year after my December 2011 order !!! Am I pleased ? The Yeti has exceeded my expectations, especially in the "fun to drive" category. Best to all...
  9. Dealer told me that mine would probably come with Dunlops...told him that I'd prefer P zeros...
  10. When queried about a Yeti facelift, since I've got one on order, my dealer simply confirmed what Totally wrote, that there would be new Rapides, one of which would be a shortened version.
  11. Hi all...new here, my 4x4 2.0 140 DSG Elegance, ordered end of December was first said to be deliverable mid-May. In fact, it seems the factory closes for the month of January. Ordering at end of year enabled a discount. Delivery to Paris. Will post pics when it arrives !
